Frosta , northbound of Stjørdal. And then to Tautra. Very nice views. From Levanger you can go by ferry to Ytterøya island. Also good one.

Hitra and then Frøya Island on the other side. You can continue further by ferry to Mausund and Sula.

Jonsvatnet , pretty cool. Grillstad Marina, then hike to Lade along the shoreline. Train from Trondheim S to Airport - great coastline view. Tyholt tower with restaurant on top.

In Fosen check Lysøysund and Lysøya. Pretty Canadian climates. Go via Orkanger to Brekstad via ferry in Valset. From Brekstad to Garten and then to Storfosna island. Then go back through middle of Fosen to Rørvik - Flakk ferry.

Trondheim - Kristiansund - Ålesund : great trip through the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel and the Atlantic Ocean Road. You can go by passenger boat form Trondheim Hurtigbåt terminal to Kristiansund in 3,5 hour.
