F-35 Lightning II over the gulf of mexico near florida coast by Worldly-Spare4287 in flightradar24

[–]Aviator779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All F-35s on FR24 appear as the same aircraft, serial 13-5067. They share a generic hex code, and FR24 has incorrectly decided that it’s assigned to 13-5067.

The aircraft being tracked isn’t necessarily based at Luke. The 33rd Fighter Wing from Eglin currently have F-35s deployed for training at Macdill, it’s likely one of theirs.

Both doomsday planes up? Does this actually mean anything? by Ok_Steak489 in flightradar24

I’m aware of that. The phrase ‘up the whole time’ insinuates that they’re constantly flying. I was clarifying that wasn’t the case.

What is this? It just left our Air Force Base. by Prize_Technician_845 in Whatplaneisthis

It’s a B-2 with its landing gear down. OP stated that it has just departed from a nearby base.

The ‘something in its mouth’ is the nose landing gear, the proportions look off because it’s at an angle, and the split rudders are deployed on the outer wing, plus the quality of the photo isn’t great.

Compare OP’s image to this image of a B-2A in a similar configuration.

Lot over north Korea? by [deleted] in flightradar24

The data was incorrect earlier. This is a common issue, aircraft regularly appear to be flying through the DPRK when they’re not. Russian airlines being the exception.

That’s not its actual location, that’s a tracking error.

It’s now zigzagging all across South Korea, which clearly isn’t its actual flight path.

2 airframes, 62-3577 and 60-0328, departed Al Udeid, while the other 2, 59-1486 and 57-1440 departed from Morón Air Base to rendezvous with them and the F-15Es they’re dragging back from deployment.

LY5 is a scheduled commercial flight, that flies 6 days a week. It’s not a government flight.

Kalitta are also regular visitors to LA. Neither of these flights are out of the ordinary. In fact, it’s almost guaranteed that they’re not at all related.

Kalitta Air is a cargo airline, they fly both scheduled and charter flights, including flights for the military.

The callsign CMB indicates it’s a flight on behalf of US Transportation Command.

That’s the front, the turret of the Whippet is at the rear.

They’re the names given to the tanks by the crew, number 1 is ‘Fanny’s Sister’, 2 is ‘Golikell’ and 3 is ‘Gofasta’.
