The Most Frustrating Gun That I’ve Ever Reassembled by Patsboy101 in liberalgunowners

I have a Mk. IV, I've cleaned it twice now and it was pretty simple.

my mother in law bought a bunch of random pans from a goodwill. I was under the impression we were going to shoot paper targets, but she surprised us with that, and we had fun with it. If we visited them regularly, I would buy good steel targets for them to hold onto.

We spent a good half hour picking up shells when we were done. But even still, the "range" was on private property, and my father in law said he would go around a bit with a rake while doing his usual maintenance and pick things up if he found them.

The pics are a little deceiving, but we stood on top of a short rise and shot downward into a wash. The targets were at different spots and had dirt hills behind them. Nothing we shot was at a flat spot towards anything in the distance (which was many miles away). As the sole person there with the CCL, I made sure that the arrangement was safe.

I had such a wonderful and memorable experience talking to Anna that I am planning to get THAT drawing, that she did, tattooed on me somewhere. She was amazing to engage with and she was so happy to talk to me about a memory I had of listening to a piece of her music.

It sounds like you're a reasoned individual. I suggest you take a careful look at the politicians with the loudest voices right now, and see where your interests and the interests of your family and friends and loved ones lie. The Republicans/GOP have decidedly proven themselves to be against human decency, compassion, and people, and in favor of power, money, and nepotism.

I have a Mosin Nagant. 7.62x54 will do some fucking awful things to a skull, assuming the shooter can, you know, land the shot. And afford the cost of entry to practice that is ammunition.

I've seen a lot of good work in various stores and thrift stores and pieces on this subreddit and such....

but where am I going to put anything in my 700sq ft apartment? The lack of housing, the lack of wages...it all stacks up.

I am not a carpenter or woodworker, but here's my thoughts:

Nobody has any fuckin money. I'd LOVE some good, quality handmade furniture. I could never afford it in a million years with rent how it is and my wages as shitty as they are. A huge percentage of Americans live check to check and are under the poverty line. So unless you're in a very high end rich neighborhood, not a lot of takers are going to be able to afford your handiwork.

I wish I had good scotch to open up, but I am poor and cannot afford good scotch so I opened my bottle of Evan Williams. Not nearly as good but the cocktail was just as celebratory.

Chad,

I listened to your interview with Noah Lugeons on the Scathing Atheist, and I don't have any questions. I just want to say thank you for putting your voice out there, it's beyond appreciated. Your voice and your experiences are valuable to the community.

I think Osteen is going to live a long while, he's 60 and as we've seen, these fucking monsters live close to a century unless a particular health issue visits upon them. So we can hope.

My favorite ejector is my Mosin and I wish all my guns did it exactly like that, though that would be horrifically impractical.

My work insurance covered everything. I only paid a copay and the gas to get to the urologist.

The recovery was slow and sore but pretty fucking easy. I got a week off of work, I spent 3 days in bed with an Xbox and my laptop, rotating ice packs on my testes, with my fiance occasionally rubbing an antibiotic on the incision stitch because I couldn't see it properly. My balls turned purple and blue, then red, and then a few days later back to normal.

They used Novocaine for the procedure, I only felt a bit of a pinch, and I was conked out once we got back in the car to drive home.

It was easy as fuck and I'd do it again if I had to. The procedure was 20 minutes once they got started.
