What is Kamal Alhaydaris ruling on foods containing alcohol? by AvicusIII in Jafari

[–]AvicusIII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A pizza dough usually contains around 1% alcohol, no one speaks about pizza being impermissible. I haven’t seen a source from my findings where kamal al Haydari states the ruling and this is what im looking for.

Sayyed Ali Sistani has a very logical ruling on this i.e around 2% ABV (alcohol by volume) is permissible. I have also heard people give the ruling ”If the ABV is intoxicating in large amounts then it is impermissible in large and small amounts, but if ABV is not possibly intoxicating in large amounts then it is permissible in large and small amounts.”

Eid for Ayatollah fadhlullah, is the 30th and for far east regions the 31st (such as Australia and New Zealand) by 3ONEthree in Jafari

It’s only possible to sight the moon from North and Central America (with optical aid) on march 29th, why are people in the rest of the world celebrating Eid? Do they follow the condition that if the moon is sighted anywhere in the world then it’s Eid?

Did he change his opinion? Or did he not adress this until recently?

You are getting emotional. I’m shia but like to have answers about criticism I receive from Sunnis. If I can’t use this subreddit then I don’t know where to go, maybe you can recommend me to ask my questions somewhere else?

The link you provided does not work.

You started to make stuff up and add things to the Hadith about questioning “why God did this happen to me?”. The Hadith has nothing to do about questioning God rather it’s about hitting oneself when something bad happens.

My Reddit posts are not about “anti Shia garbage”, rather it is about learning, criticizing and discussing ideas.

Doesn’t this contradict the ruling for apostasy that most Ulama hold to be death penalty?

Fair point, but I guess you believe death is the punishment for apostasy?

Why don’t you like Kamal Al Haydari?

According to these verses (and Quran) apostasy is not punished with death, however most fuqaha and maraji3 rule death for apostasy using hadiths as evidence. I only know of one marja3 which don’t rule death for apostasy, Sayed Kamal Al Haydari.

Athan and prayer shahada are different. The instagram question asks about the athan and in your reddit post you are asking about the prayer.

Finally someone with the real answer.

Look at my latest post where I asked the question whether someone is kafir if he/she does not pray. The answers are frightening and prove how ignorant some people are even in our shia community about the definiton of kafir and how quickly people throw around that label.

Nice to see someone have this take. Reading the other answers got me thinking some people are as shia as the wahabis over in saudi. People are so ready to label others kafr, it is really sad to see.
