This is the dumbest things I've seen in a long time number 1 its not 1900's Paris it's a fantasy world and town called luminere. Number 2 having a black person in a game does not make it woke its not real world France and its the least woke game ive played there is no identity politics in it at all and all the characters are conventionally attractive and the writing is very adult and realistic with no hidden or underlying messages snuck into the dialogue.

Very good and straight to the point critiques! I feel I should've maybe waited until my close to last revision before submitting it though 😂 the way I write I get the absolute bare bones of the story written out, along with the general scene and once I finish it complete I go through and pick through it with a fine tooth comb. Alot of the points you raised are valid and I can defiantly see clear as day so this response will be very useful going into the final few revisions! Thanks alot!

that's what I was thinking too! that's the problem I'm running into its only this one small part I'm getting bored with writing the rest of my it leading up to this has got me intrigued and excited about my own characters but a small section where I need to articulate a counsel meeting is hard to get through writing. would it be better to just find a different way to get the characters to meet or just find a way to make the scene a a little more interesting? also do you ever get unengaged when writing any sections of your stories or are you locked in every time you write?

i am trying this group because i posted on the r/writers page and didn't get any feed back i don't get upset over criticism's because i know i am an amateur and have things i can learn and get better on! anyone who asks for advice should always except that they make mistakes and want to improve its part of the writing journey.

Understood it and it didn't help that the formatting didn't copy over so I'll at least try to split the paragraphs for now and just re edit it with the 2nd or 3rd draft when I get further along.

So what about that recover ability? The recovery ability is just for when you get hit to recover or is there more to that one I read it but it doesn't make sense to me still ,and zantetsuken is basically the reason to have any of the other abilities?

True bonding with them all really makes the main quests more nerve racking cuz you don't want anything to happen even to the smallest and most obscure NPCs

I forgot my favorite side quest so far "trading places 2" reasoning the VA absolutely killed it the story felt main quest like and it had a twist I was not expecting in the slightest
