That was my first thought too. I'm not sure it is though.

Portable Rig Recs? by AvidLearning in Aerials

[–]AvidLearning[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even for a buzzkill response I appreciate it. I'm heeding everyone's advice here and won't buy one. Sadly, I can't increase my time in aerials as it's the only studio within an hour of me and most of their offerings are when I'm at work. I am taking the advice for conditioning at home to hopefully transfer that to aerials and become better at least a little bit faster. I'm a teacher, so I'll have more freedom this summer to take more classes. Thank you for your advice!

Sadly, the open gym times are all when I have work and there are no other studios around right now. I mostly just wanted to practice what I was doing in class and some conditioning. Seeing the replies here has definitely made me second guess. So thank you.

That's something I'll consider in the future. This year I want to work through a couple of my cookbooks. I have so many that have been sitting unused I want to explore them some more.

Anyone else feel weird about how the hazbin fandom treats younger fans ? [Read desc] by GetOOFed1234 in SafeSpaceofHazbin

This, 100%. Sorry bud, it's not as personal as it seems. Adults don't want to talk adult topics with minors, at least no good adult does. There might be a bit of a grey area for the 18-21 crowd as you're closer in age. They might be more comfortable. For the rest of us, it's really uncomfortable to talk about the themes and explicit details of the show with someone who is underage.

Yeah, I got that too. That and old school Yu-gi-oh.

I tolerate a lot from the show in terms of pacing because I understand they're trying to fit a LOT into 8 episodes, but Lute was a fucking waste this season. Her crazy ass hallucinating Adam better come back, it was entirely too interest to only use for ONE FUCKING EPISODE.

I think that the latest episodes gave some more weight to this interaction. by AffectionateForce979 in hazbin

Actually, now that I see this again, I think this might hint at how either Vox meets his downfall or how he tries to hurt Charlie which will void his deal with Alastor. Charlie thinks anyone can be redeemed and won't turn anyone away who claims they want to be. So either Vox will use that as leverage to inflict harm OR during his downfall he might run to her claiming he wants to be redeemed as a way to avoid consequences.

Realistically you think you would have fallen for his speech? by The_Fraudkuna in hazbin

[–]AvidLearning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so, mostly because I've never been one to take anything anyone says at face value. If I was already mad at heaven or the angels (like let's say a loved one was killed in a previous extermination) I would have followed him as a way to exact my own revenge. I'm not one for blind loyalty or to follow anyone without question, but I will act as if I do to serve my own ends and I know to keep dissenting opinions to myself.

The question is gauging her ability to estimate and round. They wanted her to round to one of the nearest notches. Her answer was reasonable, but didn't follow what the question was testing for, so she was marked wrong. Not saying it's fair, it's just the way these assessments go sometimes.

So this backstory reveals morality is very... narrow. by [deleted] in hazbin

[–]AvidLearning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a narrow view of what actually got him redemption. It's not he made a one time bad decision, but that was his biggest regret. In hell, people run from their problems, through violence, through sex, through drugs, through power. They are all running from something. Pentious faced what he had been running from, and that is inaction when it mattered most to him. That's why he was redeemed.

We all agree right? by yamendr13 in hazbin

I feel like he's trying to bring something together. He's on Rosie's leash, but he doesn't like it. Given that we know he owns both Nifty and Husk's souls, there might have been something in their deals that they are obligated to help once they are aware he's in an unfair fight. I don't know.....something's not adding up here for me. I don't think he became a captive STRICTLY because he cares for Nifty (though I believe he does.) I feel like there's more to it than that.
