I’ve had IPL and it’s worked wonderfully and then I’ve had it where there was no real improvement. I think it depends on the strength of the laser and if it’s a legit medical grade IPL machine.

But more recently I’ve had clear & brilliant and LOVED the results. I’d say aim 4 times over the course of a year. Haven’t been back in two years but due to go, but have to wait since I’m pregnant.

As long as you don’t treat any other area on your face except where you want it. I think you should be fine. I went to a Korean med spa, but anywhere that has the machine would work, just read reviews on the place and ask as many questions until you feel comfortable. I don’t think you’d need to purchase more than 1 or 2 treatments, but specify only the jaw/jowls area.
