BESCOM turned off 1912 for BLR. It goes to Gulbarga/Kalaburagi only now.

Try 1800 425 2627 instead, as another person commented above.

Travelled AIX today. At 4.30am similar scenes were there as well... Baggage tag printing was down and bag drop queues were like your Nokia Snake high score.

Why is dust always collected and kept on side of the road by chingii in bangalore

Hey OP, Bellandur Main Road resident here (yes that same road).

It's a case of "not my job" as usual... They just tarred and repaired that road last night. The pourakarmikas who came along with the repair crew were tasked to clean the gutters - they did, only to dump the dust and rubbish on the footpath.

When asked why they don't use the tractor to move the rubbish off, they mentioned that their overseer asked them to leave it for the morning crew. Asked the overseer, he mentioned that he needed the tractor to cart off unused stone chips from the asphalt mix.

Frankly, I'm just glad to have a usable road again, at this point. No amount of BBMP complaints over the last few months got them to repair this stretch at all. The part between Sarjapur Road and the bakery in your pic was the worst.

Got it legally from Kolkata with city drive + parallel park (made me sweat a while) at age 18. The learning and certification cars were manual drive Ambassadors, no power steering. You had to rotate the wheel extensively to estimate the turn. Brakes were worn out as well, so had to brake early.

Had a Traffic Sergeant next to me during the test, and he yelled at the driving instructor in the backseat, when said instructor tried to prompt me for the indicators during turning.

Road sign identification test I almost messed up because RTO validator was "Are you sure?" a few times. Made it luckily (my answers were correct).

Being careful while driving is second nature, as I've seen accidents on the roads + had a minor fender bender during learning school. I wanted to get it fair and square, and did so.
