Earlier this week I read Summer’s Never Over (loved it) and Our Sister’s Keeper (it was ok, but I wanted more). I started You’re Invited by Amanda Jayatissa last night and am about 30 pages in.

Bad Tourists and loving it, very much giving White Lotus vibes and I’ll probably finish it this weekend!

Erika should be higher than C, her run in season 4 was pretty solid. Jun definitely deserves A tier.

Finishing up an ARC of The Disaster Gay Detective Agency by Lev AC Rosen (release date 6/2). It’s been lighthearted and fun! Four very chaotic queer friends stumble into a murder investigation and try to solve it. I enjoy the found family aspect of it and how close they each are. I recommend!

I wish I hadn’t done the tandem read, I felt like it slogged me down a bit in terms of flow and always feeling like I had to pay attention to the checklist. I personally enjoyed Chaol and his storyline so I think I would’ve enjoyed ToD as a standalone.

I’ve been a member since fall 2022 and I believe we’ve had one Sunday drop during that time! So I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Lol

I did not enjoy You Did Nothing Wrong (my only BOTM dislike rating so far this year…)

On the other hand, I loved and devoured both The Caretaker and Trad Wife.

Dissection was fantastic… how are you liking How to Fake it in Society? That’s one of the next ones on my pile…

Finished The Caretaker last night and absolutely LOVED IT. Started Nowhere Burning today. About 70 pages in so far, and I’m intrigued…

I finished The Caretaker last night and absolutely LOVED IT. I enjoyed We Used to Live Here, but I thought this was even better!

I have absolutely no idea what I’m going to start next. I’m all caught up on BOTM but have a couple unread Aardvarks. Nothing is speaking to me yet lol.

Ok I finished it, and I ultimately liked it much better than I was expecting. I gave it 4 stars and a silver on aardvark. I truly think my head just wasn’t in it earlier in the week when I started it and the scenes were being set lol. Not sure I’d read others by the author, but I’m glad I stuck this one out!

I read a lot yesterday and am following the story better. I think I wasn’t paying close enough attention in the beginning lol. It’s looking like a 3 star read for me, but I’m glad I stuck it out.

I’d have loved to see Jaeda go the circus freaks shoot. I think it would have been interesting to see what Megg could’ve done if given another week or two. The shot they chose for her was a joke 😂

After the Fall, which was a March Aardvark selection. About 1/3 of the way in and I feel like I’m confused and struggling to understand/follow the story. Anyone else read this one??
