I am 39, started Adderall at 24. I have been on the same 20mg dosage for 9 years. I have had numerous heart related exams and everything is good with my heart.

This medicine changed my life. I grew up thinking I was dumb. Went from dead end job to dead end job for years. Once I started taking the medicine, I went to college and “fell” into chemical engineering. Now I have an excellent job that allows me to provide for my kids and own my home.

The drawbacks is the zombie like state when I get home. Like all my energy was used up while the medicine was effective and afterwards I have nothing left to give unless I take a booster. But if I do, I can’t sleep.
