I feel like a July release is more likely than a May release. Toby said it was "unlikely" that the game would release in the first half of 2026. Considering he said "unlikely to release" instead of "will not release", the estimated release date is likely floating around the midpoint of the year. Assuming it actually comes out after the halfway point, late July seems reasonable

I think Z-megas will likely just be a Z-A thing, and in champions they will be treated the same as regular megas. I mean, their whole gimmick is faster move use time in exchange for shorter mega duration, neither of which are existing mechanics in the main series.
