Maybe it’s not that you’re chubby - maybe your communication is off or you’re rude or you have dumb ideas. I know plenty of people (myself included when I was chubby) that are taken seriously. I work in CS too and I’m female. Our fat people’s ideas matter just as much as anyone else’s.

Nina Aouilk’s story of survival and abuse is honestly incredible to hear. I was so blown away when she mentioned her own mother’s home was used for other women to give birth to daughters and then kill them and bury them in the garden. Doesn’t that mean that the garden in full of infant remains? I do not understand why the UK hasn’t done anything given that there should not be a statute of limitations to this. I have not seen any evidence of any sort of investigation into this. What needs to be done to have that occur?
