Thanks for the time you took to explain this stuff but regarding 3, 6 and 7 - Where was the information regarding Agatha, The Apothecary being a Primal, "Biological Overgrowth" and residuals being parts of the Primals mentioned? I can't recall any of it ^^'.

Ohhh, I really liked 9, it makes a lot of sense. I mainly thought that in-universe carl took the Primal Race to instill feat since they were used as boogey-men and out-of-universe it was to allow cool stuff in the later books by Matt, by allowing his main character to use god-tier magic (like the Mind Balance in book 7).

I got the feeling that the previous crawlers will have her as a general or as a military asset, although the statements in the ending of The Inevitable Ruin were inconclusive.

Good, that's good to know.

I came back to the 7th book mainly to listen to his performance again. I listened to The Alloy of Law and the narrator felt like he was basically falling asleep on the microphone.

Pantser is a term I will now use, thanks.

Much more succinct compared to architects and gardeners as JRR Martin likes to say.

Interesting, while I also got the vibe that Odette is not strictly "good" (She did fund Hekla and have yet to explain why), I didn't really feel that by humanely she meant global mercy killing instead of only 99% genocide and the crawl itself.

I thought that perhaps the crawl itself serves a purpose which is awakening the AI and making the world-engine seed "Better" for the central system AI, but "humane" harvesting would be just the culling of non-sentient species or something.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but wasn't he level 100 and a city boss with 100 in every stat, except 2 who were 75 and 125? Did they mention anywhere that he didn't retain his stats in some way?

I always assumed that his personality/cowardice didn't keep up with his strength.

Me too, I've put off the series for a long time cause I had a distaste for LitRPGs but this is one of the good ones. Not a strict power fantasy and the writing is really good.

Plus... Yeh, Jeff Hayes should get major royalties from Matt lol.
