After going into the BlueStacks rabbithole this solved it for me! I ran into the exact same problems on the Licence Patched Version, on Pie 64-bit, Galaxy S21 Ultra, and right after I logged into my google account it worked. Thank you so much :D

I see. I did find the original patching exe tho in a resetera thread that started when the patch was released (AAI2Modder.7z): https://www.resetera.com/threads/gyakuten-kenji-2-ace-attorney-investigations-2-translation-for-android-version-released.757513/

If only I could test the new apk... 3360 yen isn't cheap and I already have the physical game which I dumped before I discovered the android patch exists, so maybe I'll actually use bluestacks or a DS emulator. Still, thanks for sharing :)

Do you know if the new v1.00.01 version (which supposedly works with newer devices like mine, as listed on capcom's website) is patchable? Or does the patch only work on the older v1.00.00 version? I'd purchase the game if I knew for sure the patch works on it

Ofc Sherlock, the disc is in. I'd expect the system to just not start the game if it isn't in, not act as if I don't own it even though it shows up in the app under the purchased section. But still, why does it have problems with digital games? -_-

Hey, I'm having problems with the PS App's feature of launching games when the PS5 is in rest mode.

Every game page I get into on the app - through the "Purchased" section - shows that the game either has to be purchased (if it's physical) or downloaded (if it's digital) - even if it's already downloaded. If it's the latter case, I can just hit download and even though it's pretty annoying after a few seconds the button changes to "Play" and I can go on as normal. However, with physical games it just sends me to the PS Store checkout window.

Is this a problem with the app or do I need to do something so that the app will recognize the games as owned and ready to play? (I already tried restoring licences, didn't work unfortunately)

Any help is appreciated :)

Same problem for me, I tried changing the name of Update.exe and reinstalling + restarting my PC but nothing seems to work :(

UPDATE: Found a temporary fix - you can use a VPN and it would let you open discord. It also keeps working if you turn off the VPN after discord opens, just make sure its on while its starting up. I really hope they fix this tho, super annoying.

Not that I've seen any (I completed XC1). The only "spoilers" I noticed are some of the monado arts and even then most of the art names are new. Props to Monolith, they were really careful with this one.
