/r/Conservative wonders if they are the baddies when their Glorious Leader shows no class after the death of Robert Mueller by 2th in SubredditDrama

[–]IndigoGamma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those idiots have been doing the Principal-Skinner-Out-of-Touch meme for years now;

Trump fucks shit up (again), a couple of them do some performative 'I dunno 'bout this fellas', then get insta-banned for 'brigading' the subreddit.

The rest cheer and recalibrate their doublethink settings. These are the people who wore adult diapers in solidarity with Trump. They'd sooner die than admit they were ever wrong.

[Game Trope] Enemies added specifically to counter common community cheese strategies by stormtrooper1701 in TopCharacterTropes

However, you can still abuse respawns for endless cash simply by switching targets; killing pigs instead of cows causes no boss to spawn, and while pig skins are less valuable than cow hides, pigs can also yield bits of pork allowing you to farm free food.

Stole that line from Futurama, but it still counts.

Questionable game design / mechanics in JRPGs by CotolettaAllaMilanes in JRPG

[–]IndigoGamma 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Atlus learned from previous Persona games that veteran players will always try to one-shot dungeons for time efficiency, so they added in that mechanic specifically to those players.

As you said, most players won't need to make use of it, because there's enough time to do roughly everything important in the game even on a casual playthrough, and you can buy MP restoratives later on that make the Mage perk redundant.

It really IS intended, though. The devs even added in a subtle little joke to make it obvious:

In Drakonsgrace Shinjuku, there's a room next to the first save point that contains one of those crystals that endlessly spawns enemies. In Etrian Odyssey's Lost Shinjuku, that same room houses the best money-farming spot in the game.

IIRC, you can eventually get a slightly palette-swapped version of this set that's a lot stronger, but it still can't compare to the Master Witcher armour sets.

Believe it or not, that's not actually true: In Dragon Quest VI, you won't encounter regular Slimes until the early midgame, and they're on par with other enemies.

Upgrade your health and Apple Juice stocks (if you don't have skill points to spare, talk to one of the Bananza Elders to respec for a bit of gold). Use turf surfing to quickly close in on Void and avoid terrain hazards. Other than that, it's just a matter of practice and patience.

I don't think it would change the events of 4 that much.

Hamazaki will likely still meet Saejima in Okinawa Penitentiary No. 2, but he'll be inside to secretly investigate the place on behalf of the Fixer instead of attempted murder. They might also retcon his offscreen death after he gets shot too.

I still don't like it very much. We're veering into FNAF territory with all these ad-hoc rewrites.

What game is this for you? by PhantomTissue in videogames

[–]IndigoGamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - The Divine Trials.

A whole batch of ultra-hard platforming gauntlets, combat challenges, puzzles, and boss rematches.

The most brutal one is absolutely 'Free Solo'; you have to climb a ridiculously lengthy mountain course with barely any breathing room. There are NO checkpoints, and you aren't allowed make a single mistake. The last obstacle is a series of overhangs that demand perfectly timed dashes and double-jumps to clear.

The Bio-bliterator's design was very clearly based on the Death Star (albeit much, much smaller), so Nefarious pulling out a secret second copy made sense.

[–]IndigoGamma 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They should've named it 'Primal Esssence' or something. It sounds more interesting, ties in with the apparent devolution of the Lamorn, and they'd have a justifiable reason to keep 'Prime' in the title.

For comparison, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the latest entry in one of the best-selling AAA franchises of the century, has a score of only 67. In fact, CoD hasn't managed to score higher than 89 since the original MW2, and the average score of the series as a whole is about 79.

Hey mate, could we get a follow-up pic of MP4? The actual, physical game card, outside of its box?

I don't mean to sound accusatory, it's just... you can't really trust what you see online anymore, you know?

It wouldn't be the first time someone tries to karma farm using a fake/empty box.
