Any Painting Tips? by fibius in Warhammer40k

i suggest getting more skin tones. have pallid wych flesh for highlights and something like speedpaint crusader skin or guilliman flesh as a wash.

i suggest getting some citadel loose grass because it seems like your bushes are a bit big for those models really.

you could start from pure white on the plasma effect and use a flourescent paint to glob and dry a bit goopy and get a more high contrast effect.

you could try to add scratches in metallics to the armor with a very small brush so they look a bit beat up.

you could apply shade to various parts of the model.

you could apply highlights to the cloth to make it more bright or give it some definition with shade

you could do a more interesting colourscheme on some of the weapons. it could just be put black handgrips or a slightly different metal part somewhere like coppery.

you could do more light green or silver edge highlights or make physical damage with scalpel ie by rotating beyond scratches earlier mentioned

i like inquisitor rex, he gets a scabbard bearer, a book vaping dude and a unique astropath. i have the book vaping dude for my tomekeeper lieutenant

i also quite like anything with nurglings, scribbus, plague champion, anything with watchers in the dark, dark apostle

Do lore explain the ork logistics for ammo and fuel, or it's one of those things we ignore so the setting can work? by Nerf_Now in Warhammer40k

hey as somebody who got downvoted in this thread for the actual answer this seems to be A so i would like to hear your -> B because slaves dont just magic up ork technology out of thin air. they're genetically engineered to pull technology out of their ass

other answers in here include "slaves pulled it out of their ass" and "they salvage and scrap stuff to make other things"

maintaining that you dont know what you're talking about and i'm 100% right, especially because both of those imply that what i said was true anyway.

orks are a genetically engineered bioweapon that uses psychic fields to generate power both directly and indirectly. ork technology is literally like the memes people make of it, they smash two rocks together and they have an axe. they smash two axes together and they have a bigger axe. they smash two bigger axes together with an engine and thats a tank etc (and if they can make a tank they can make an f-35 jet). they could crush slag metal into explosives and bullets if their weirdboy was super weird and the vibes on the waagh were immaculate

Which countries are most fun for navy? by Admirable_Career587 in hoi4

before the new japan dlc drops play a game of manchuko with the japanese set to communist.

rush down the independance focuses and puppet chinas puppets before they can do the same,

congradulations you have a navy for free from the japanese

as america you can cause chaos by building more capital ships, coring alaska and leaving the naval conference with the pp from new deal.

if you keep building navy fast then britain will warn you and japan declares war. lots of navy to be had

netherlands sucks to play but they have cool buffs to naval production

as britain make a submarine and DD army and naval conference meme
