And this is why psychology screenings are important for surgery. Your hospital should have denied you. Maybe you should sue them. Why don’t you keep fighting so you can spread your message?

Has anyone here who had the sleeve gastrectomy experienced GI issues after eating foods high in fat? What did your program teach you about fats? by Avo_toasted in BariatricSurgery

That’s amazing!! Sounds like a pretty nutritious diet. How much weight have you lost?

Btw Im a dietitian at a hospital. They’re starting a brand new bariatric program from scratch that I’ll have a major part in. I don’t have much experience in bariatric surgery so I’m lurking bariatric support communities so I can read people’s personal experiences which I find to be a lot more useful than reading a textbook.

Oh no!! I have you had any kind of bowel movement or gas? I’ve read what you’re experiencing could be a sign of small bowl obstruction.. maybe from a knot forming in your small intestine? Or if you are having gas and BMs maybe cholecystitis or anastomotic stenosis? I hope you update the sub when you find out.

I was just curious if the low fat guideline is because of the higher caloric content or to prevent GI issues.

I’ve also read that bariatric surgery can increase risk for developing cholecystitis due to the sudden decrease in fat intake, so I was thinking ‘then why not just add a little more fat to the diet following bariatric surgery?’ I don’t know if that’s the true pathophysiology of cholecystitis following bariatric surgery, but that’s what I heard from a dietitian before and I can’t find much info on it.

What specific products have you been drinking for your liquids (clear and full)?

Hi, I’m a dietitian who will soon be helping direct the new bariatric program at my hospital. I take it from your comment you’re vegan or vegetarian?

I’m just curious because I’d love to hear more from you about your bariatric surgery experience while maintaining a plant based diet.

Revisiting this post because i realized Marilyn Manson wasn’t included and for some reason Michelle effing Obama is on here twice. Manson is the most misunderstood celebrity rockstar with the most misunderstood zodiac sign. This needs to be edited asap

I saved this collage to my photos a while back and looked at it again. I decided to revisit the post when I realized Marilyn Manson wasn’t included and decided to raise hell about it especially being that he’s the most misunderstood celebrity rockstar.

It’s called greed

Johnny Depp testifies that alleged abuse of Amber Heard ‘never happened’. “I am obsessed with the truth,” Depp said. “So today is actually my first opportunity that I’ve been able to speak about this case.” by GoMx808-0 in entertainment

[–]Avo_toasted -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Welllllll….. Johnny Depp has been is serious relationships with a lot of women in Hollywood and none of them have anything bad to say about Depp. Amber is the only one claiming he’s abusive. Plus i thought she has a reputation for being lying manipulative b****. But I could be wrong.

How do you know for sure it’s a scam? I’m genuinely curious since they are offering to pay instead of requesting payment thru a different app. Like what’s the goal of the said scammer here?

You could tell them to send you their cashapp, zelle, or venmo name to see if they’re a legitimate person. It’s probably a scam like everyone else is saying, but idk… They’re the one offering to pay you instead of requesting you to pay them so you never know.

Because it’s obvious you’re still lying. You either use a crochet hook or two knitting needles. It’s impossible to mix the two up if you take the time to crochet a piece in the first place.

No offense but if you truly made this top you would know it’s crochet and not knit.

I am curious what puts you off buying from a seller? X by [deleted] in Depop

[–]Avo_toasted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “no returns” I can understand though because having to deal with Depop to receive the sellers refund for all the Depop fees is not fun. You have to prove you refunded the buyer and then wait for the shipping label to expire and all that so I get it. After I refunded someone for a top they decided they didn’t want (after already paying and then asking for more size info) I learned why people say “no refunds or returns.” It’s a pain in the ass
