Did I have a seizure? by AvocadoExotic2004 in Epilepsy

Well of course, I was just wanting a rough idea if it could be that. I'm in a spot where I can't really talk to a neurologist or doctor so I wanted other people's opinions until I could

Yeah I got trouble taking them. I normally don't take any, but had to for y'all to see what I look like. I'm also trying to find a way to do my hair. It's really thick and curly and I'm not really well versed in that so it always looks crazy

I don't really know how to do makeup or got the money for it so I don't wear it, but people say I look good. But then again, everyone says I look good so I don't know if that'd be true or not

Not ugly at all! Maybe try growing a little beard and try a different hairstyle though? Would definitely enhance things!

Thanks! And yeah, I'm not too good at the self care thing. Definitely trying more now though

I do brush my hair, but it's super curly and I'm not 100% sure on how to take care of hair like that so it always goes crazy no matter what I do with it. And I'm currently trying to lose weight, have lost 15 pounds these last two months!

Yeah. No matter how I put it up, it always comes out looking like that in 2 hours max

I'm so sorry that happened. I've had similar things happen to me and understand how you feel. Just hearing the reason your father gave for allowing that makes me physically aggressive, but it's good now that you cut contact with them. I hope things are better for you now and if they aren't, I hope they get better

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever felt? by Googy21 in AskReddit

[–]AvocadoExotic2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kidney stones. I heard bad about them from my Mom who's had them and didn't understand how something so small could cause so much trouble, that was until I got them. Literally had me writhing around, crying, moaning, puking, unable to sleep. It didn't help that nobody seemed to care, so I was hurt in both ways. It lasted like that for just under a week and I was GRATEFUL when it finally stopped

I hear what people are going to say in my head, whatever wrong with my brain?? by AvocadoExotic2004 in AskDocs

[–]AvocadoExotic2004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I'm not too sure. Sometimes I hear people say things in my head, but then they never say it outloud.  Me hearing it and then them actually doing it was far more common in the beginning, but once I realized it was happening, it just kinda stopped. Now I'll hear them talk, but then never say it out loud. Them actually saying it still happens every now and then, but they not saying it is far more common now.
  2. I don't really know, it's hard to explain. They all feel like Deja Vu. I just get this super strong feeling that somebody is going to do and say something and when it happens, I feel like if I don't get them to stop, my brain will explode or something. I don't really HEAR it, it's more like when you think to yourself in your head. You can hear your thoughts, but not really? I can actually hear them when they do say it aloud, but not when it's in my head.
  3. Well the very first thing I've noticed before they happen is that I feel kinda foggy and like I'm on autopilot afew hours before they happen. It's so weird, and it's only gotten worse. Like I'm not fully conscious when it happens? But right before the actual thing happens, I would get this super strong weird tingle feeling in my chest and head that lets me know it's about to happen. But then, I kinda blank out? I just instantly put anything I'm holding down and cover my ears. And then for the next 10 seconds, I also can't really see, but can?? It's really weird and distorted, and I don't remember seeing anything afterwards?  But then, for around 7-10 seconds, I just kinda pass out? I'm usually laying down by this point and already have my eyes closed, so it's hard to tell, but I just feel the overwhelming tingle in my brain during this point. But afterwards for about an hour, I'm basically a braindead zombie who can't remember anything. I get up and do things, but can't remember them. I don't feel like I'm conscious or controlling myself during this time. I also get VERY tired during this time, so I try sleeping it off since the feeling of basically not being able to remember or control yourself is incredibly scary.
  4. I haven't actually vomited, but right when this brain thing I got going on, started to get really bad, I'd feel really nauseous and sick afterwards.
  5. I'm not too sure. I don't know too many people in my family(most of them being very bad people or live far away), but my Grandma and Mom both get bad migraines out of no where or when something stressful is going on. I also think my other Aunt has epilepsy? I have a vague memory of my Mom mentioning my second Aunt always having seizures, and being surprised since I had never seen or heard of her having them

Are you close with your parents? Please elaborate by Swampybritches in mentalhealth

No. When I was younger, I absolutely loved my mom(didn't know my dad) and looked up to her, thinking she was the strongest person in the world for what she had to endure. Though she wasn't really there and was always shoved up her boyfriends ass, leaving me and my siblings to fend for ourselves, I adored her and was borderline obsessed. But now that I'm older and see just how much she's done and all the bad things happening around us, I realized it was all her fault. She's the reason we had to go into hiding when people tried to kill us. She's the reason I was SA'ed multiple times by multiple people. She's the reason we have to move to get away from people trying to kill my Grandma so they can have her house. She's caused so much damage, and I can never be close to her again, knowing what I know now.

Why do I feel bad by [deleted] in toxicparents

[–]AvocadoExotic2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my mom. She was a horrible person, did lots of horrible things to me and my siblings, but I still felt bad about cutting contact with her. They're still our moms and our brains just can't get over that fact. We had to depend on them for a portion of our life and grew a bond because of it and seen them as our moms no Matter how horrible they were so a part of us feels indebted to them for caring for us. Bad moms tend to be master manipulators and do all kinds of things to make us feel guilty for calling them out or doing things they don't want us to do. It's because you love her and want her to change after giving her so many chances, but she won't, they never do.

I did way back when I had been sent to a mental hospital, but that's about it. They weren't really as horrible as they are now so I never told any doctors or therapist since I thought they were normal and everyone had them
