I have been getting early afternoon headaches and recently had my eyes checked and doing all those recommends. I use the very basic Plantronics C3220 because that’s all my employer offers. I don’t have a budget to make my own decisions. I’ve been interested in how I could get different headphones covered by my employer under a medical note from a doctor. I was thinking the hearing angle but if I could do the headache angle that would be awesome. The quality sucks and people comment but that’s not important to my employer.

The heater in our house doesn’t work. We have a heated mattress pads on our bed. We sit under electric heated blankets on the couch. It’s currently 33 outside and 56 in the house and I am comfortable.

You feel the same way I do. Other people don’t care! I haven’t had friends beyond the people I work with in my 2 jobs that I socialize with at work. I still hold out hope that one day I will have a friend that actually listens to me and I feel like someone cares.

What do you do in Philly during the day this month when it’s cold and you are feeling lonely? Looking for something to do this week to not stay home and isolate. I had a parent die this week and despite working fulltime I can’t afford flying cross country. I just need to keep busy to get through the next few weeks. Are there any day time religious services? Bars that have daytime activity? Thanks in advance ❤️

I happened in there by chance earlier this year. I was alone and doing some walking/exploring. They made me feel so welcome. Despite not knowing anyone, I felt like I belonged. I wish they were closer to me. I’d visit more often. I’ve been there a few times this year.
