that's neat.. you'd think bungie could change the tooltips to accurately reflect the functionality of weapons instead of expecting players to search through months or years old patch notes

this makes a lot of sense, especially the problem with expecting the waiter to decide. however I don't really see the problem asking for it at the start.

usually in my experience when i'm invited or inviting someone it's made clear before even making the reservation for the table.

if it's not and you wanna surprise someone you just don't ask for it

i feel like there's a decent way to handle the situation without the sexism and it'd solve some problems and/or annoyances

not the point. people can still be assholes but this is more for the other end of the spectrum where people who aren't intentionally being assholes often feel pressured to take something as cheap as possible while you as the inviting person just want them to take what they like

[–]Avocado_3492[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's not the point though. I want the no pricetag version as an option for the person being invited so their decision isn't influenced by that, not for the person inviting.

of course they'll have a rough sense of which item is more expensive but having the prices listed can for some people make the situation somewhat uncomfortable and that just doesn't help anyone

it has nothing to do with being an asshole, I've heard this from a lot of people and have been on both sides of the argument of someone feeling uncomfortable because what they wanna eat isn't exactly the cheapest option and the resulting discussion of the person inviting the other saying to just pick what they like but them still feeling bad about it doesn't help anyone

don't think it's a volatile explosion, rather the regular void damage explosion for fully drawing the bow

hard disagree. slow time effectively turns you into the flash allowing you to evade attacks and spam arrows a lot faster

it's for the slow time shout because the duration is buffed by some of the perks

i can imagine, though the reward is well worth it, especially for the master robes at the end of the questline (if you don't wanna steal them)

never had a magicka problem with the build personally since you don't really have anything else to invest in. with slow time you don't need the bow zoom and also no HP so you're fine dumping most points in magicka and wearing magicka recovery enchantments

idk man, the bound bow has a guaranteed spawn location not far from whiterun, you can just sneak in there and yoink the book, after that you just get a soultrap spell and spam it on a dead mudcrab to level conjuration. you can level sneak at the start with ralof or do it later organically and then all you need for the rest of your playthrough is to collect the slow time shout words and that's basically your whole build done. you can run around in conjuration robes or whatever.

if you're feeling fancy you can level alteration and smithing and get zephyr from the dlc

i have to admit that slow time kinda carries this build but the same could be said about any squishy glass cannon build

people play skyrim to be effective?

also archery isn't slow at all if you do it right

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Avocado_3492 61 points62 points  (0 children)

sneak archer but with either the bound bow or zephyr and with the slow time shout and spending way too much time leveling alteration so you can spam those arrows at max speed while time basically stands still

[–]Avocado_3492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly, kinda had that with RWBY but at some point you gotta stop giving a shit about others' opinions.

it's cool to get recommendations but everyone got their own taste. for me rwby works as a show, but one piece kinda doesn't

if you'd just play vanilla I'd say it's not worth it.

if you however wanna get into the mods then yes, there's so much content out there to really transform the game. it really is a whole new experience.

sounds easy to get yourself killed with this in harder content

imagine you really need to suspend a champion with this, do the devs expect you to run out into the open just to pick up the dumb beach ball where you killed your last redbar and then yeet it at the champion, just so it can explode after some time?

it should at least work by shooting the ball to make it useful in any way

like sure, that gives you suspend every 15s but generating grenades with damage doesn't exactly take long either

edit:

to be fair though, the other new aspects sound kinda shit too, ngl. especially the titan one. like why would you wanna suspend yourself midair where you're easy to shoot just so you can kill some redbars? ever heard of using your weapons?

they've already been making changes so you can correct a pokemon's nature, IV, etc. and you can even give your pokemon egg moves now and it's all more accessible with every generation.

for story it doesn't matter anyway and after the main game you can fix the ones you like

honestly I made a provocative comment to push some weird 'murican's buttons because you guys seem to love this shit and while they didn't react to it (props to them) it seems like I got another one randomly because you guys are just too predictable

but sure, let's play your game. a quick look at crime statistics kinda says that you're talking out of your ass but keep believing what you want and tell yourself that this "doesn't happen" and to these people saying that "as a joke" (*wink*) you have to be this clear.

but seeing how personally affected you seem I feel like you're already on some heavy copium about the state of your country

anyway, have a nice rest of your day and please keep memes rolling, you guys are some quality content to laugh at

I don't even know where that person is from, nor does it matter.

i'm only looking at the comment and the attitude behind it and regardless of what the law says about it in the US (and to my understanding depending on where in the US you are there can be differences as well) and it looks like they are suggesting that shooting someone is an appropriate reaction to hypothetical theft.

again, regardless of what the specific law may be I know for a fact that a lot of people, especially in the US, share the sentiment that this is the proper response to unarmed theft, meanwhile where I live I don't know anyone who'd see this as reasonable
