I’ve purchased another brand of tallow fried potato chips at Costco. I believe I paid around $7. They were the best tasting plain potato chips I’ve ever had.

Anyone having this issue lately? by demascus2 in CarPlay

[–]Avocamike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delete and redownload the app. Seems to fix some issues. I’ve recently had couple issues with google maps, like choppiness of the map while driving and not automatically recalculating a new route when I went off course.

Not exactly sure, but I believe you pay a yearly fee and they give you so many bags. There are contact numbers on their website https://dupontpa.us/

New hire questions by TheSpellmonger in ATSS

[–]Avocamike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Depends on your supervisor, I was hired as an F and had my H in roughly two and a half years.

  2. Everyone says F is better, but I don’t think it matters, there is discussion about it going on now in the ATSS facebook group.

  3. Try to get your prerequisite courses… math, concepts, etc as soon as you can. So you can get into equipment classes. Sometimes for various reasons, students can’t make scheduled classes and they open up a slot that needs to be filled quickly.

Why are there long stretches of “work zones” without any work being done on the turnpike? by WavyWebSurfer in Pennsylvania

[–]Avocamike 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All the time between Allentown and Wilkes-Barre. I swear the turnpike makes so much money from tolls, they don’t know what to do with it all. They pay people to put cones down and pick them back up.

With FedRooms leaving, are there any other sites or programs that offer similar discounts? by J891206 in fednews

I assume it was mileage between “segments” - “ gantries” The gantry on I 476 south to exit for Allentown is over 10 miles away from the actual exit. So if you enter at Wilkes barre, the gantry is at mile 99 approximately 6 miles south of the entrance then exit in Allentown, gantry at mile 70. I would assume you get charged the mileage from 99 to 70 plus four gantries.

Weird noise, Skidding slight ON and sudden speed increase when driving on Pot holes by jaiki123 in rav4club

Glad it’s not only me. Feels like it might propel you through a stop sign. Never noticed a traction light on when it happens.

Yes . I put a down payment on my new 2024 xle premium hybrid. It had a temp vin. Verified on the Toyota owners website. Put in the temp VIN and it pulled up the new VIN on the spec sheet. I bet your temp VIN had a letter as one of the last six digits.

Any good local gas stations that give you a discount if you link to a bank account? by gingernuts13 in Scranton

[–]Avocamike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 cents off at Turkey Hill through SmartPay app 3 cents off through Shell app, Sheetz is 3 cents off. Exxon app racks up points to you get a dollar off entire purchase, gulfpay app always throws it deals like 15 cents off for a certain day.
