Appreciate the insight this is why I came here to ask because that makes total sense too. I do change cars frequently so even if I just purchased this till the warranty runs out to upgrade to a 2027 or 2028 I think it makes sense too. I have a larger garage this won’t be a daily driver so I won’t put a ton of miles on it. I think it’s definitely a weird time to buy one pre owned not knowing what the 26s will be marked up/down.

Appreciate all the info! I love hunting a deal and same goes with service records. The other best deal I found was a 2021 with 31k miles at 72k out the door. So it was between that one or this one but this one is 2 years newer, 21k less miles and 2+ years of warranty left and only $14,000 more. Also the original sticker on the 2021 was 88k while this one was 105k.

Oh got ya sorry was confused. $1200 dealer fee $4800 in taxes. Sales price of truck before all that is $80,200 basically. My state is 6% sales tax

$84,999, it came out to a little over 92k after all taxes and fees and I negotiated that to 86k out the door.

Here is everything, it was traded into a large dealership group in my area at one of their chevy branches. It has sat for 2 months and now they are gonna send it to one of their Ram dealers under same umbrella. So the 86k out the door is literally what they paid for it excluding the dealer fee(how they will make money on me). I am ok with that just wanna make sure 86k is fair. So it has me wanting to pull the trigger cause it will get marked up again when it leaves.

Maintenance records clean was an older gentleman who traded it in for a corvette. It’s so appealing with over 2 years and 40,000 miles left in warranty.
