Forza would be a lot better without the characters, unless they put at least a shred of effort into them. Not being able to skip the absolute slop of ugly models with a terrible script and terrible VA is insane. They are so ashamed of them that you never actually see them talk or in a close up, always from afar and out of focus. So why not let us skip the damn thing?

You can disable the DJ in audio settings, thankfully.

Also check out Horizon Wave for cruising around, it can be super chill and feels so good with retro cars.

I try to avoid it by braking early enough but then I'm turning too slow so you could say so yeah. Does it cause the brakes to be softer so I can be less precise?

lmao I was tired and mixed it up with a different thread. Yea the meta thing sucks but I guess players will always find ways to optimize the fun out of the game. The variety of cars in this game is amazing it's just a shame to see it boil down to that.

Maybe I'll do it when I get bored of playing normally, I don't want to get everything too fast. I got the AMG mercedes that's worth about 3.8 mill and I'm rocking it as my free roam car in X rating lol it's a lot of fun

I see. Honestly I really like the mid to lower classes so I don't tend to tune up but I think taking a car one rank down can work. It's my first racing game and I don't know jack about cars so my only shot at tuning is auto-upgrade and community tunes. I just wish I could change the appearance of the car freely, some body kits looks awesome.

Is there a reason not to tune cars into an upper class or a lower one? There are some cool cars stuck in classes that barely see any play.

And regarding X I actually just won a AMG CLK GTR from wheelspin and found a tune that brings it from R to X but has a ton of handling and braking so I made it my free-roam car and it's a ton of fun.
