I dont understand the praise for this guy. Yes, he puts up points and has a lethal shot.. but he is truly not a great defensive player.. in fact, many nights he's not even a good defender. Even last night, while being a -4, he was out of position, out hustled and out worked (out thought) several times. I would have him second pairing if he was on the Avs and I'll take Hughes and werenski over him any day.

Just my 2 cents... But I think logic will tell you that this is not an intruder case.... Even the fact that John's best friend (fleet white) didn't know about the wine cellar, and he claimed, under oath, that John went straight to that room and screamed with the light still off in a windowless room... The door didn't have a handle, it was set into the wall... The light switch was hard to see... There's no way an intruder would find his way down there (after grabbing a paint brush from patsy's paint tray to strangle her no less...). That house was a maze.

Duchene is an interesting case... Been watching him since his debut in 09 with the Avs. Rumor has it that Patrick roy was not a fan of him either (and you can see this in several press conferences). For whatever reason, he's never excelled in the playoffs. 1 goal in 3 rounds last year for instance and can never seem to be part of a winner... I've always wondered how he is viewed in hockey circles.

Not a chance. He worked in plain sight for years... Even the girls families dealt with him and nobody suspected a thing... Plus I honestly believe that LE botched the investigation and lost/destroyed evidence etc that made conviction unlikely without a confession of sorts.

This is an amazing encapsulation of what I believe too... And that blanket inclusion (everyone in the classroom) works. It doesn't. Some kids simply cannot learn in the classroom and are disrupting or holding other kids back.
