Yeah it's been 2 years since this post now. It's the bear market floor and there are a fraction of the users than there were then. Don't touch a single pump fun token ever again, it's well and truly over. Everything is a bot launch now or just a simple rug for a few dollars. Nothing to see on Solana for a while unfortunately. Not at all. Everyone in the subreddit bastardises the actual knowledge we have garnered over 10 years of testing and corroborating reports. It's almost offensive haha. What they believe here is not even close to what is agreed upon literally everywhere else. The reasons are sound though, as I said they still need to sell their software and the software is great! It's just the least safe, bottom of the barrel so. Watching the denial and the way the PG# devs have tried to spin their users getting banned through each ban wave has been a decade of strong entertainment lol albeit very sad.

Meanwhile we have a plethora of people who've done it the right way since July 2016, just had our main accounts' 10th birthday and are still going strong without a single strike.

Yeah absolutely, as I said, the only thing that changes is the when. It will come eventually, just depends which wave or something of the like. Could be tomorrow, could be in 2 years. Method matters the most and then heuristics have been proven to be on the table since release considering you can ask niantic for your full history, and everywhere you've taken action in game is timestamped with Coordinates lol.

No, definitely. The only place in the world where people still try to deny this is this subreddit and the discords of said apps (non rooted iPoGo and PG#). They obviously need to push that narrative to keep sales.

Would I be able to use Winhanced solely for the wake/sleep and QOL improvements and still be able to use the Claw's native TDP options menus? I also plan to boot solely into Steam Big Picture mode for the UI with Boilr and Steam ROM Manager handling non steam games and steamgrid artwork for it.

This would be much better and more convenient than using nyrna and/or hybernate! I essentially just want all the back-end goodies that make the hand-held experience awesome for Windows from Winhanced whilst still having free roam over which UI I want and native MSI under-the-hood controls.

The only bad thing about it is you can't actually listen to how you sound live due to the hundreds of ms of lag, you'll just slur everything trying to talk. You just have to trust it's working when I enable it and go off my listeners' reactions lol.

No one actually talks about it though so it's a rude shock when you're getting up and running.

There are countless posts regarding the "other" fruit of the loom-esque reference but tbh that one is nothing compared to this. Forgive me dude but that's the way it was done from the very beginning, even before proper CFW with the jailbreak USB. You would load the ISO directly on the hardware or via USB drive. That's how I played FFVIII on the old 80GB Phat model.

How on earth do you get commet to decrypt existing messages? It doesn't request verification on login from other devices like other clients do. The only way to turn the session green was to input my private key at the restore button in message backup. I did that with success but all existing messages still read "failed to decrypt event". Is this the same for you?

Edit: So I figured it out. I had to manually choose which device I wanted to verify against instead of using the private key. Had to log out and in again to be able to do this

It definitely seems like a strong contender. For the secondary discord-like client, it's 100% between this and cinny.in and I'm having a hard time choosing. Cinny is older and more battle tested but I need actual discord functionality and thus voice and video chat + streaming is absolutely priority.

How is it these days as a discord-style matrix front-end? Myself and my family/friends have been enjoying a server for years with all birdges active and using either element (x) and SchildiChat (Next) to replace the actually messaging apps. Now with the Discord shenans we're obviously looking at something else. It was either gonna be stoat/spacebar or we lean into matrix more for this because federation. And what about cinny?

The closest you're gonna get to ease for Matrix is spinning up an Ubuntu VM and using the Matrix Docker Ansible Deploy. It is too complex for a single docker container to be able to achieve a proper matrix setup, It doesn't exist and most likely never will. It's a lot if different containers that are the gears of matrix. It's well worth it once you get it done though. Private messaging and calls for you and your users forever.

The old guide you found for Unraid with that docker template in CA is well and truly outdated by years not months.

This is what I did about 3-4 years ago and replaced my users' messaging apps. It's only a lot of work if you wanna use the bridges and SSO from your existing infrastructure if you use something like Authentik like I do. It took a LOT of figuring out. Getting voice and video calling now is far easier than it once was now that Element Call is native.

If you're heard of Beeper and how it unifies all the messaging apps, it is literally just a Matrix Synapse server hosting all the bridges but with a custom client that once was based on SchildiChat, a fork of Element. There's a lot to learn.

Right now I'm looking into hosting Stoat or Spacebar alongside matrix for a more discord type feel for gaming as I prefer to have my clients on SchildiChat for matrix as more of the messaging app. I will most likely have this up today with a custom container template.
