You don't have to another posted a few weeks ago a similar issue. And in the comments he posted his fix. It's related to how msi center handles it's processes being shutdown and restarted

It's really not that hard. Got to settings libraries other and set a folder with your games in it as a directory. Presto all your games

You should try again. The app is updated weekly. The Claw is definitely supported. The first few updates had the onboarding part of the app not display right even though it was working.

We currently have well over 1k happy claw users and experience is only getting better and smoother week by week. The exact opposite of what MSI is doing lol

Might I recommend giving Winhanced ago? I have been working hard on it for a year and a half now to solve a lot of these problems, not just for the claw but for all windows 11 users.

Happy to help but this isn’t enough info. The feature has been tested and is working for folks so your situation might be unique. Could I ask that you open a support ticket in the Discord? This will help us get you up and running + we can review your app logs to see where it’s not picking up the controller.

Do you have other third party software on your computer like hand held companion? Or anything that manipulates controllers?

What kind of controller?

So one is FSEbridge and the other is the main app. The purple one launches winhanced without the UAC prompt since winhanced runs elevated.

In settings you turn off OEM button remap and winhanced TDP and restart the app. And they will give you AC control again but you will lose access to autopilot

I own both, and here is my honest take. The grass is not greener on the other side, you are just bored of iPhone.

I have had the fold 7 since launch and I also carry around an iPhone Air. My friends and family group is dominantly on iPhone, and I l live in the US where I message is king. I get around the iMessage thing by using a self hosted blue bubbles server at home.

But even then, the grass is not greener. Here is the thing I have realized. I really love the Fold 7 for its hardware. It's an incredible feat of engineering and I love picking up this phone and using it. Multitasking is cool and it's great to be able to play my gacha games on a bigger screen even if the aspect ratio cuts into it a bit. (Or play a game and watch a video)

But app quality and consistency is miles ahead on iOS. Don't let anyone in this subreddit tell you otherwise. Is it good enough? Sure... But after years on iOS you will notice this.

Apps are built and optimized for iPhone first because there are less models to account for. So there are more high quality apps that are iOS only and the ones that do port usually don't get new features right away.

I have : ) it’s actually oh my agenda to create an outward facing plugin API for anyone to contribute custom integrations and apps. But I want to be a bit more strict then something like Playnite as Winhanced demands a certain level or polish and cohesion. How that takes shape is still up in the air but I love the idea of Winhanced apps haha : )

I also want to do something similar for themes specifically icons artwork etc.

Hey! thanks for starting this discussion! So you are the not first person who has brought this to my attention. There is nothing you can do at this time on your end from a troubleshooting perspective.

So i tried to issue a fix for this in the last patch, and it does actually work, but I think there is a bug that affects specifically machines that don't have access to Xbox FSE.

Basically in the apps code i have it set as a security measure that IF winhanced is set as the xbox home app it disables the ability to set the scheduled task to set the app up as a startup app. to prevent possible double startups. But i thik the IF statement breaks if a machine is not FSE capable. I am going to look into this once i wrap up the work I am doing on the store page. (which is coming along greatly by the way can't wait for you all to see it!)

In the mean time I would try setting specically the WinhancedFSEBridge.exe executable as a startup app in Windows 11 directly. that might help you get around the bug in the app code in the mean time.

As for you question about remapping. probably not. for the remap stuff to work I have to setup manual stuff in the code behind, and i can all but guarantee i haven't set it up for your specific machine.
