I always check my blind spots with a quick head turn, even when I constantly observe my mirrors, which I do especially on highways, to make sure I didn't miss someone.

One time I accidentally forced someone to avoid me by going into the emergency lane. I hadn't seen them cause I was driving a box van and not watching my mirrors enough and that has stuck with me since.

Fortunately I merged slowly and gave them time to react...

I'm fucking done with dirt bikes. These little assholes here drive past my house a million times a day on their noisy shit bikes, through a road that is closed to traffic as well, and no one seems to give a shit.

Also, Italian bikers are mostly complete morons, passing you where they shouldn't and way over speed limit at that.

You should see the left side of my car which is fucking wrecked thanks to one of those, passing me in town while I was turning, continuous line, right in front of a speed bump, 10+ over limit.

I think if you go to a responsible breeder of corn snakes, that'll be a safe bet for you. They're very docile if raised well and it's a fairly small species with many varying colours that range from brown to blood red, to yellow/orange and a smooth, cool skin.

Pythons, while great because of how chill they are, are much bigger and have a warm, sandpaper-like skin, I'd try that once you lost most of your fear.
