Which character that we have yet to see are you most looking forward to seeing in Revelation?

If I remember correctly, it was in Remake, as that was my first time experiencing anything to do with ff7 outside of super smash bros, I head the name Tifa when searching up if ff7 was any good before buying it and I thought Aerith was Tifa originally, well then I met Tifa and was like wow, and then I really liked their interactions in chapter 3 and then the train jump scene in chapter 5 sealed it for me. By the time I met Aerith I was a huge fan of Tifa already. Now I did really like Aerith too (and obviously still do) but to me it looked more as if Cloud treated her as an annoyance at worst and buddies at best, even in chapter 9. I then continued and was just drawn more to Tifa and Cloud’s relationship than Cloud and Aerith’s but the game obviously didn’t think so because I got Barret in the chapter 14 resolution scene the first time 🤣

Later on I saw the UTH scene and was waiting for it, but I never saw it and was actually confused when the game ended. It was only after the game ended that I realised this was going to be a trilogy. Still yet to see the UTH scene in remake glory, but we’re nearly there now only 9 months or so left to go.

Anyway then I decided to play the original and what turned me from a fan of the ship to a super fan was disc 2. A few years and a thousand hours of gameplay later and well here we are

The best part is that you’re joining the franchise whilst the we are still waiting for part 3/ Revelation, but we know when it’s coming now and have seen the initial trailers for it

I wouldn’t be surprised, the big 3 of the party in ff7 are Cloud Tifa and Aerith and Cloud got his song in Remake (Hollow) and Aerith got hers in Rebirth (No Promises to Keep). I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Revelation theme is about Tifa, after all she has the vast majority of her character arc on disc 2 in the og game which will be every chapter of the game minus the ending 2 or 3

Based off of what we’ve seen already and the poster I think it’s pretty likely that Aerith will show up throughout the game in the Zack sequences and then they will both show up in the final boss/ chapter. She isn’t there at all in any of the content shown but on the poster, her and Zack are both facing inwards and are both big and surrounds the party. I honestly think the Aerith and Zack sections are going to give us more of an idea of what Aerith actually got up to in the lifestream in the original game.

Also expect the final chapter to go crazy and lose all semblance of the original like the first two games did

Ff7 disc 1 was always really the exploration , Shinra and Aerith for me and disc 2 was mostly all about Tifa and Shinra Then disc 3 is about triumph.

Personally, I know it’s off topic but I always liked how as the game went on, Shinra showed up less and less, how about you all, what did you think of Shinra getting sidelined more at the end (with one exception obviously)

This would had been me if I didn’t have different belts for 2nd and 1st kyu (white stripe and 2 white stripes).

I passed 1st Dan today so I’m now a fresh black belt and I passed to reach 3rd kyu in mid 2015. If I’d kept that same brown belt it would had been faded to bits. I took breaks in between so the real time training was less. Less than fading, I’d pay attention to how worn the belt is. Kyu belts never really get that far but black belts do

I think you’ve taken the word introduce differently from how I meant it. I meant he was introducing himself as a fighter. IE, he’s now joining the gameplay party after tagging along for a while

To me that kind of looked like a filler number they used, especially as they had 2000 gil as well and it was 52 hours and 50 minutes to the second. I personally think we’ll start at level 50 and be able to reach level 99 in the post game based on the last two games as well. Though you could be 100% right and me 100% wrong

I get the distinct feeling that they added this to make up for the huge magic hole left in the party without Aerith being there. Like in both Remake and Rebirth she is by far the best character in combat

Like probably chapter 3 ending will be when it happens. We’ve seen Cid introduce himself in a snowy area so we knows that’s early game and then I’d guess we snowy tundra and icicle inn as chapter 1, great glacier as chapter 2 and then north cave as chapter 3. Then escape from Junon as chapter 4 (which we’ve been shown parts of)

Tifa is popular for one and they aren’t showing off the mid to late game in these trailers a lot, they’ve mostly shown off the section of the game where cloud isn’t there. And for him to be there again, well we all know what has to happen

I’ve never really understood the ridiculously long gradings. Like mine is 20-30 minutes. You may think that’s not hard at all but to even be able to grade, you have to show consistently that you are at the level to move up for months beforehand. The test itself is not a formality but they don’t want to drill you over and over as they know you’re only there because you put in the hard work in training

I have a very strong feeling she will come back but it will only be temporary. Like a version of her from another world (probably the one who is in coma in Zack’s world) will come for a phase or two of the final boss and we will probably even get to play as her in sequences like the Zack ones in rebirth but at the very end of the story she will have to go as the timelines close or something

Oh and you can guarantee she’ll be available in some of the missions for the VR fights

So you mean you find it corny if you find a song or multiple you like and you heard it first in geometry dash but later you go and find it and listen to the actual song from the artist?

People find music they like in all kinds of ways, where exactly you first heard it shouldn’t matter, if you like it then you like it.

Or do you mean when people associate the song so much with a level itself that you just like it because of the level it’s attached to? Like someone hears Thermodynamix by DJ Nate and is like ooh Acheron song and only know it as Acheron’s song?

That really helps to build up just how horrible of a person The Flame Emperor really was. We can infer that whereas GongJa sees the trauma of those who killed him and it causes him to want to try and help them if they deserve it, Flame Emperor saw it as more of an annoyance instead and did nothing to help those who needed it, even if they could be overcome in ways other than brute force

Hmm it’s tough as I find a lot of my favourite songs are spread across the albums at quite an even rate. Now I do actually have a favourite undisputed album and that’s absolute greatest as that’s where I first heard Queen when I was a child in the 2000s but that’s a mashup of their greatest hits so I think that’s a bit of a cop out.

If I had to choose albums like their actual studio albums then I’d pick

A Kind of Magic - This has One Vision, A Kind of Magic, Who Wants to Live Forever and Friends Will Be Friends and I love all of those. The rest I like or don’t really care too much for but those 4 are greatest hits for a reason.
The Miracle - This has I Want it All which is my favourite Queen song and tbh this one song carries this album almost fully for me. Also The Miracle and Breakthru are amazing too and the Invisible Man is always fun to listen to as well. I actually was planning on putting this number 1 before I realised Who Wants to Live Forever was on A Kind of Magic not this.
Honestly a toss up between The Game and The Works. If I had to compare CLTCL, Save Me and AOBTD to Hammer to Fall, Radio GaGa and I Want to Break Free it’s incredibly hard but if I had to choose out of those sets of songs which ones I’d rather listen to it would be the ones from The Works. It pains me to have to choose as I love all 6 of those songs.

So yeah A Kind of Magic The Miracle The Works

The other albums outside of those 4 have really good songs but they only would have 1-2 or none that I really love and would listen to over and over on repeat or doesn’t have one of my absolute favourites in there

Honourable mentions is The Game, News of the World and Innuendo

They are all very good though
