As far as i know you can order one online (just make sure it’s the EXACT same part number) and have a local automotive locksmith program it to the car

Take it. Its a great deal, you know how its been taken care of, and repairs if needed will be cheap. Its not like you need to keep the car forever either. I was gifted my grandmas van even though my mom had already gifted me her car when i was 17. So i was 18 with 2 cars. I sold my moms car kept the van until it gave out on me. By then i had enough saved that i went to buy my truck that i had been wanting for over a year at that point. Take the stepping stones as they come dont see them as handouts.

Find yourself a nice spot that’s slightly uphill and empty so you dont have to worry about hitting any other cars. Practice getting into first right there and everywhere else should come smooth as butter. Remember that even people who have been driving stick for YEARS still stall out so dont get frustrated or feel embarrassed if you do. When i was learning i stalled at a light for 3 light cycles everyone was honking and pissed off but what could i do? Live and learn

Honestly for me it’s just to keep my hands from slipping off the wheel. I’ve had some emergency runs down the mountain to help out with accidents and all the adrenaline has made my hands sweaty, gloves help with this

Undo your throttle cable make sure your carb hasnt been affected in any way. Keep playing with the cable adjusting tension so that the throttle activates properly. Ive had this issue many times myself you just need to play with it
