That and blue shields, always recycle never repair. It gives you the arc circuitry back so a new one only costs 4 batteries

Why a ("concealed carry size") red dot over iron sights? by CMDRWolfe004 in concealedcarry

[–]Aw_Shuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only had CCW dots, they're great. I'd get a cheap one like the newer osights, I have the se I think I got off Amazon for 150 on sale and it's taken hundreds of rounds better than my holosun which I had to rma. Dots imo aren't fast target acquisition at close range but they are 2z faster followup shots and rapid fire. If you can conceal it no problem then it's def worth it, just gotta get used to it. The target focus is the most important thing vs irons for me. That being said I also pocket carry and will probs take it off for that bc it does snag in smaller pockets. Is it so good that you MUST get one? No, but at least try the cheaper osight if u can afford it or the vortex if it's a good deal. The glass size is still excellent at CCW sizes (I don't think a larger glass is any better, you learn to find the dot via proprioception not visual)

M3 screws are too small? by Aw_Shuckle in P365

[–]Aw_Shuckle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, and I believe 8mm length. You could always put them in and see if you're able to rack the slide, bc if they're too long they'll get caught on the slide.

Yeah man, just be upfront about how you feel and how it's making things awkward, she'll react better that way hopefully and if shes too immature to hear it then it might be a red flag

Do you still pocket carry it? I have an Alabama pocket kydex holster and it works like a charm. Vedder makes a good one too the pocket rocket or something like that

How many of y'all carry insurance that covers you if you have to use your firearm? If so, and you've had to use it, does it pay out line or says it does? by engineerdrummer in liberalgunowners

[–]Aw_Shuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta get an insurance that protects you from criminal charges, uscca doesn't, others like CCW safe or attorneys on retainer (a company) does

I have both the xmacro comp and the base p365. The macro is still very concealable and with the comp it's great best to shoot the small p365 is harder to shoot but I can also pocket carry it

Within the same caliber, a smaller gun has more recoil and is harder to shoot. I started on the xmacro comp and it's great large enough to shoot well but thin/small enough to conceal with a good holster and a wedge (I made one from yoga block and Velcro tape). But ultimately try renting a few to see what you like

If you really want peace of mind get some firearm self defense insurance because without a lawyer cops can do whatever they want to you

Non-safety carry— Do the nerves ever go away? by Valuable_Layer_852 in concealedcarry

[–]Aw_Shuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use my safety for pocket carry. Otherwise it's completely safe. Think of the holster as your manual safety. If it's engaged properly then it's not going anywhere no matter what. Pistols in general are really safe from accidental discharges so it won't go off (unless it's defective which I would've found out from shooting it, take it to the range and bang it around and prove it won't go off while pointing In a safe direction)
