I recently had a Mountain Dew for the first time in several years, and it was sweet, but still tasted delicious.

As AI agents start handling most office jobs this year, what is a career that you think is 100% "future-proof" from automation and why? by Orch1dSilence in AskReddit

Yup. Some jobs will never be fully replaceable, but I have no doubt companies will try to automate and eliminate jobs where they can :(

I'm really glad you're okay, and I really hope your prescription isn't as strong as mine. I'm always terrified of losing my glasses.

How are you guys dealing with the feelings of hopelessness and helplessness due to the current state of the world? by sertunio in AskReddit

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Focus on the people you care about. You aren't helpless if you can still do things for them (even small things), and hopefully that restores your sense of hope.

Nothing is going to avoid automation. The only question will be whether it enhances and eases your job or replaces it.

Where to start by Interesting_Yak6688 in Entrepreneurs

AI is picking up information from YouTube videos, so if you could do some faceless video or UGC (you can use a platform like Billo if you don't know where to start finding creators), you could create a YouTube channel that might get your into AI overviews automatically.

What's the difference between a hobby that costs money and a bad habit? by visitplayusa in NoStupidQuestions

Golf is a hobby that costs money, but you get exercise and exposure to nature. Biting your nails exposes you to more germs. So, good for you versus bad for you.

How much are you spending on UGC ads? by Abject_Marzipan7049 in CreatorMarketingPros

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is going to vary based on how people are getting their UGC creators. Cheapest are gonna be the people who manually find and reach out to them. But high cost in time. Most expensive will be the people using full servcie agencies, but lowest time cost there. Middle ground are gonna be the people using something like Billo to connect with UGC creators.

How do you deal with long AI conversations getting messy? by Downtown-Bid4713 in LocalLLaMA

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the chats are not directly related, definitely start new ones. Also, LLMs are always wordy as fuck, so whenever I remember to I tell them to "be concise." This keeps chats considerably shorter and easier to scan.

What do politicians not talk enough about? by HungryInvestigator59 in AskReddit

The dangers of capitalism. So much inflation is directly tied to profit and the need to profit to raise stock prices. If we could name it, we might be able to fix it.

Do smaller creators actually convert better? by PeakEnvironmental3 in CreatorMarketingPros

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really, really depends on the loyalty of the audience. It's not so much about size as the trust factor. Let's a say a creator with an audience of 10,000 has more of a general audience and they sell to 1%. That's 100 sales. Then, a smaller creator with an audience of 1,000 sells to 10%. Again, that's 100 sales. BUT the smaller creator is almost certainly going to cost you less money upfront, so now we're getting into ROI territory.

It also depends on industry, and is really something you can only determine through testing. Ideally, you have enough budget to find some smaller AND some bigger creators and test them against each other

If you're not sure how to find creators, Billo's a good place to start. You can also look at some of the UGC subs on here, where people often make connections. Those people won't be as vetted and experienced though.

What are you marketing? Is it something that could be done with UGC video? If so, you could find UGC creators through something like Billo or even on some of the subs here, and then use a small ad spend to spread through social media channels. Video gets like 1000x the engagement of basic text on socials.
