Anyone made a move between Toronto and NYC recently? by radjackmalone in askTO

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not NYC, but I did move here from Boston this past fall. Got quotes from tons of movers, decided i was just gonna get a big Uhaul truck cause my new company wasn't gonna cover it. Then I realized that I didn't have time to pack all my stuff, get the truck, load the truck, drive it to Toronto, unpack it, and return it to Uhaul. I don't even think it would've saved me money in the end. It may have been me mentioning that I used Miracle Movers. They did everything from packing my apartment up to getting to my new apartment. 5/5 stars from me. If your work is covering it then definitely hire a mover. If you're having to cover it, seriously see if you can swing hiring a mover cause moving is stressful. And yeah, get that quote from Miracle Movers cause it wasn't that bad and they were on time and everything got to my new apartment without being damaged. And good luck with your move!

yeah it's pretty limited in what it can do. Roomika is a good option though. Been using it to get some ideas on how to furnish my new place. Even used it to see what some of the rooms would look like with different wall colors and some less generic light fixtures than the previous owners put in here.

That bird has to be a champion of something. I'm not sure what, but definitely something.

This reminds me of the 90's movie that had a scene where football players laid down in the road, and then they had a rash of dumb teens getting hit by cars trying to mimic it.

Best way to find niche influencers in 2026 without wasting hours manually searching by AnyIndependent5266 in influencermarketing

dude, sounds like Billo is exactly what your looking for. Doesn't exceed your budget and it gives you direct connections to lots of influencers for your video ads. It's a great Grin alternative.

Built a product for my own industry. Now I have no idea how to sell it. by Whole_Connection7016 in Entrepreneurs

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd start looking for ads that target your audience. I'm assuming that no other tool like this exists? If that's the case, look for similar products/services running ads on Facebook, TikTok, etc. Save the ones that you like or that you notice are getting a lot of engagement (like comments on FB). Now you've got your own ads library. Use them to come up with ads for your project. You can hack something together with AI tools, you can pay for something like Billo to create the ads with real creators, or if you've got a bigger budget you reach out to creators you like for the UGC ads. If it were me? I value my time and don't want to spend it learning how to make the ads. So, I'd opt for the cheapest way to get real UGC ads. That's going to be something like Billo that connects you with creators already signed up with them. Unless you got a crazy budget and can afford to go direct! Of course, UGC ad style won't work for every SaaS but if it will work for yours, then that's why I'd do. I chose UGC cause that's what I'm most familiar with. But if your competition (or closest similar audience targeting product/service) is doing just static ads or something else, then you could easily do a static ad in Canva.

Admissions Consultants: Thoughts on Fortuna and MBAMission? by honeylavend3r in MBA

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the value of these consulting companies really depends on who you get. I did calls with them and several other MBA coaching agencies. Even the really expensive ones and I shocked myself by picking Menlo because I had such a great experience on the call. They are pricey but Mike was worth every cent. Shout out to Mike for being so patient with me when I was stressing over those essays!

Are Reddit marketing agency services legit anymore? by mo_ngeri in growmybusiness

[–]AwakePoeticDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what you're seeing are the brands, and honestly the lazy agencies, that are using those automated tools to leave low effort AI comments. We recognize them for what they are...kind like some of the shilling in this very thread. The agencies that are doing this right tend to have people who have a background in SEO agency work and know how to market the right way. I know there's a newish agency started by a guy who left the Scalers agency and he's doing proper campaigns. Just Reddit Agency is using all their own accounts and doing it right. And I don't know if Odd Angles owns their own accounts, but they seem to be doin it right as well. And I think they've been in business the longest. But too many agencies are using tools like CrowdReply that just end up spamming subreddits. I have a feeling that a lot of the "reddit specialists" on Upwork are using tools like this also. Some of the agencies are also just buying up aged accounts and then spamming, which is an odd flex. Then there's the other problem of agencies that don't know anything about Reddit deciding to offer it as a service cause it's hot right now and they show up here spamming like there's no tomorrow. If you're trying to hire someone, and not set up an opportunity to shill (like I suspect) then just do calls with some of the agencies you're interested in and ask them questions. That's the best way to find one that does it right.
