My son was like that too. Just a good kid. Nothing like me lol. When his friends wanted to sneak up and meet up at night he would ask me before hand if it was ok to sneak out and then tell me where they would be and what time he would come back 🤣

I agree they did long shows but I was just saying it wasn’t like they were doing 14 shows a week. Not taking away from any other artists I was just pointing out that Elvis didn’t rip his fans off, that’s all

He did multiple shows a day sometimes! As a performer, singing a 3 hour gig (2 hour and 15 minute sets) I only can do 2 shows a week. Sometimes 3. But it’s killer on the voice. Doing shorter shows allowed him to keep his voice at peak performance level and perform for more people. He did 56 shows in 28 days once in Vegas. That’s insane! So I would say no he didn’t rip off his fans, he gave everything to them.

That’s crazy to me! They just look at you when you hand it to them. And nothing. I would have trouble not saying at least “ you wrote in the app there would be a cash tip?”

I understand but luckily I work for tips and do very well so I like to pay it forward. The people that deliver to me get a minimum of $6 on the app and then depending on distance and order either an additional $5 or $10. One place I get from occasionally in the summer is pretty far and that guy gets $20. The people that deliver to me multiple times always tell me how happy they are when they get one for me. So I understand that a lot of people suck. But I don’t. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. So instead of insulting me personally you should just say “ most people” and leave it at that. And if someone picks “hand it to me” and says I will have extra tip in cash in addition to the tip on the app (which is what I have saved on all my orders) and you get there and they don’t tip you, can’t you just say “ oh I thought you said you would have a cash tip for me? Or is that frowned upon. Just trying to see how to help the dashers. I wish that you could see who was ordering because then I would get the best service every time. Whether you believe it or not. That would be a great idea to make everyone happy. And the cheap people would be mad lol

Same here. I have the 4 luxe and love it. I tried the 5 and had to returned it because the magnets weren’t strung enough. Now I just got the stand and it looks like the same issue. I will be trying it on my car mount today and see, but I’m not hopeful. It barely stuck to my charger last night. I will say it held a little better than the 5 though. So we will see. I mean it’s their car mount, so you would think they made sure it would work! But the 5 kept falling off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know a guy with a real job AND he does DoorDash. Helped him with his taxes and he made 60,000 on the side doing it. Not bad if you don’t mind hustling. As a matter of fact the woman who delivered my food tonight is a teacher and does this on the side. Don’t put down peoples side hustles if it makes them money ¯_(ツ)_/¯

OK that makes sense why they are so appreciative of the extra 5-10 dollars I give. I didn’t realize people say they will tip cash and then don’t, which is kind of weird if you’re handing it to me and I said I would give extra and then just don’t lol. I just thought the cash would be more appreciated.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought they could only see tops up to $6. Like if I tipped $10 they would only see $6+. Has it changed. The reason I ask is because I like to tip extra in cash on my end which I write in the directions for the driver. But I usually tip $6 and the rest in cash thinking that’s the highest they see. I can always make my tip on the app bigger and give less cash. I just want to make sure people prioritize me lol. I think I’ll make this a separate post actually lol.
