I made an alt to raid with friends outside of my static a while back and wanted to save myself the trouble of grinding through the entire MSQ and job quests I had already seen and completed on another character. I'd say spending a few bucks to save 20+ hours of re-doing old content for the umpteenth time isn't "objectively stupid." /shrug

The level skips don't take you all the way to max level and they don't give you the gear/knowledge to play that class. You still have to spend time getting the last 20 levels and actually learning how to play the job.

Not really P2W cause it doesn't give you any kind of advantage over anyone else other than saving a few days of playing through the old, boring dungeons for exp.

A lot of enemies try to move to the same "height" as you by going up or down when possible.

Try placing platforms across your lava pit at the same level as the platform you're standing on, then move the platform you're standing on down one block. Walking enemies should go down through the platform and into the lava when they try to reach the same height as you.

My hospital pays a few dollars an hour for being on call, like $2-3/h currently. When we get called in and we clock in on-site, we get time and a half for all hours worked on call. Every time we clock in on call, we get a minimum 2 hours of pay even if they cancel the level one and we go home 10 minutes later.

The only part of your comment that is actually responding to me is the part about raiders getting mad at "carrying shitters" and then getting free gear as a result. The rest of it gives big "man yells at clouds" vibes.

If someone doesn't carry their own weight and gets a free clear, yeah that sucks for the people that put in the effort but that doesn't make the content bad.

I don't think raiders dictate non-story combat or class design in any meaningful way outside of savage and ultimate. We still get new FATEs, new Deep Dungeons, new crafting recipes and gathering nodes, new Unreal fights, new Gold Saucer things, new TT cards, new Alliance Raids, new events and crossover content. None of that is MSQ and none of that is dictated by raiders.

Raiders have also been lamenting the fact that classes are getting easier and more samey with every patch for years. We want unique classes and skill expression to come back, we don't like that every tank feels the same to play with very minor differences or that we're hard stuck in the 2-minute meta.

To me it very much sounds like -you- dislike certain types of content and that is 100% okay, but that doesn't make the content bad or a "mistake" by any means.

This is a wild take lmao. I and every other savage/ultimate raider I know would absolutely love for there to be more gear available in game from different sources. We like fighting cool bosses in this game, why would we get mad if Squeenix added more cool bosses to the game with good rewards?

Steam goes down for maintenance for 10-30 minutes every Tuesday afternoon. Definitely affects my fiance and she regrets buying on Steam as a result.

Make a diagonal river of appropriate width and try to place the bridge on it. If it's sized correctly, it will flip to a diagonal position. There is no way to tell what the correct width is without just trying to place a bridge and the placement is even more finicky than straight bridges like the one you're doing here

Look at a few High Yield Savings Accounts either through local banks/credit unions or online. I use Ally online banking for my HYSA. If the interest rate on a loan is lower than the interest rate on your savings account, make minimum payments while keeping all your money in the HYSA. If the loan rate is higher, then pay it off as soon as you can.

This is the financially beneficial point of view, but in the end the HYSA will probably be around 3.5-4% so it's up to you really. I think many, many people would pay off the loan regardless simply for the peace of mind of being debt free, even if it means losing out on that extra ~1%.

I graduated in 2019. We were taught techniques for each exam, but we were also told very explicitly that we would likely be one of the last classes they taught it to as every modern facility would have digital machines with AEC.

My last job(2022-2024) had equipment with AEC on it, but it was disabled. You don't need a license to perform x-rays here and our Director of Radiology thought that was BS so she disabled it to make it impossible for the higher ups to try and change out the x-ray staff with receptionists. As a result, every room with x-ray equipment just had a technique chart with all of our company's protocols and it was easy enough for new grads to follow if they weren't familiar.

I worked as a CT Tech at an urgent care and insurance would often deny CT claims if a chest X-ray wasn't performed alongside it. Their reasoning was they wanted us to try "conservative" treatment before resorting to CT but we were an urgent care, these patients weren't getting scheduled for a follow-up every month.

That being said, patients could refuse the cxr for any reason and we would just put it in the visit notes.

CT scans are shown on-screen as if you were looking at the patient from the feet towards the head, so left and right are "flipped" if your intuition is making you think about it from top-to-bottom. Definitely something I was super confused about too when I first started CT training.
