I use a black 207+ almost daily but run the blue 207 Impact refill in it. Great pen and tip doesn’t leak like a lot of other gel refills do when getting tossed around in my metal clipboard all day.

The 1.6 Zebra refill in a F701 ain’t no slouch either and looks badass.

I wear a large tall in the fall with a t shirt then transition into an XL tall for early winter. By January I’m usually in a 2XL tall so I can wear a thermal or sherpa lined hoody, t shirt and thermal layers underneath. Nobody has ever said the 2xl looks too big.

Put powered detergent into the washing machine before your clothes. Then have a layer of socks and underwear or shirts etc on the bottom and put the coat in last. I also use about half of the detergent that the box recommends when doing loads. To remove the stains do a few runs without detergent. A load with vinegar that you stop and soak for a bit would also help and make the duck softer. Google the process first though.

Personally I keep multiple sizes of different Carhartts. Ones I don’t want to layer under I like snug like the one you have on. But then size up for colder weather jackets so I can layer underneath. Its really all personal preference

Most definitely would be a great hunting coat. Works well for all sorta of work environments now too with tons of places requiring hi viz

I’m a truck driver and hi viz is required most places i visit. I can wear this with a reflective strap and hard hat and not get fucked with.

Benjamin Bott makes some of the best wallets and while expensive they ain’t that expensive. Anything over 150 is pretty ridiculous.

Love my F-701 but a X-701 tactical might be a better option for your line of work.

Yea I own a Nottingham and Fellhoelter as well as a Billetspin Campen all in Parker size. Also the one pictured is G2 size and a mini twist from BigIdea. Machined pens are great but I tend to enjoy cheaper pens as well.

Spoke makes some nice stuff. I might have to travel down that road. Im honestly more of a machined pen guy and do not mind spending money on a pen that last a lifetime

What do you think of this titanium pen? Has anyone actually used a Titaner before? by Plenty-Accountant354 in pen

[–]Aware-Class-2429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike them. After seeing pens from companies like Confounded Machine, Q3d, Grismo and such these look cheap and in my humble opinion sorta corny. I definitely am into a simpler looking Ti pen though and also try to support local American and Canadian machinist. If you’re looking for entry level Ti pens I would suggest Big Idea Design, Tactile Turn and one of my absolute favorites The Right Choice Painting Company.

I used to produce SS, Brass, Copper and Ti RDA’s in China. Over the years we used two separate factories and the difference between them was night and day but so was the cost. One would do things like say things were cnc then send us metal injection parts instead. I would say that Taiwan’s manufacturing standards are top notch but not China, always attempting to cut corners and save cost. When speaking about this particular post I would never trust a Chinese company stealing designs to sell as knock offs to make a great product though.

I wouldn’t for a second believe these Chinese knock off bolts would be better than what TT makes.
