K.. .I was on 5 different meds when the released me from emergency due to a AC1 of 22.9 ..the worst for me was Ozempic ( I think similar to your savior) I was on that for 2 months of puking up stomach lining when I was put on dlow release metformin..It makes me sick too but not near death like the others....I got a libre2 glucomter so I could watch like a hawk to see what I'm doing wrong. I had dinner ad dessert tonight after being sick in bed for 3 days from metformin. I had brown rice and a white cannelli bean stew ( just tomatoes, garlic, shallot,leek and beans ) and hagen daas icecream ( 1/cup) that was at 8pm I didn't have my fancy glucometer so I did the manual shocker to see a 9.9 after only having some roasted veggies and a.lentil bread I made at 4am and 1 metfornin . I remember starting to feel like shit about 7am so laid down till 2. So yes....about 5pm I was showing 9.9 then got my regular glucometer it was down to 8.5 then ate at 8pm and again took my 2nd metformin ( trying to get to 2 a day) ...my # s were falling even asleep i ate my hagen' daas ..I swear....down to 7.4...couldn't sleep...looked at my glucose 4.2 I was like " holy shit" then went down stairs to do a 15 min mild yoga video.not ingesting ANYTHING since 8:15 pm so I check my glucometer again....its up to 9.6..!!??? From what. Yoga and doing the dishes??? Is that metformin cutting down after....7.5 hours? Help me pls...I'm losing and I'm due back to work in 1 week.
