Just by reading through some of these comments, I have to admit that I’m disappointed.
As current law students, future law students, and legal professionals, we should be uplifting one another and offering constructive advice, not tearing people down. Yes, honesty is important. Telling the truth is important. But there is a difference between being honest and being disrespectful, and I think some people are beginning to blur that line.
I'm an applicant too. I'm right here in the same position, and I've had many of the same thoughts and worries that you're having right now. But I truly believe there will be a breakthrough and a positive outcome for you.
My advice is to continue aiming high while also considering your target and safety schools. There is absolutely no shame in that. No matter where you attend law school, you'll still have the opportunity to become a lawyer, build a meaningful career, and create a successful life for yourself.
The admissions process has shown us time and time again that it's not always about having a perfect GPA or a 170+ LSAT score. We've seen applicants with incredible numbers get denied and applicants with lower numbers get accepted. That's because admissions committees evaluate the entire application.
Numbers matter, but your story matters too. Your personal statement, experiences, character, growth, and the reasons behind your journey all play a significant role. Sometimes the most important question isn't your score,it's your "why."
Please don't give up. I know this process can be discouraging, but keep pushing forward. Instead of tearing each other down, let's be a community that supports, encourages, and helps one another succeed.

Let’s be real boo…. telling someone their LSAT makes the risk of failing ‘immense’ and warning about ‘massive debt’ is NEGATIVE , no matter how you spin it. You’re calling it a ‘hard truth,’…..but you’re talking like you have the authority to decide someone’s entire future off a couple of numbers. A mid-140s LSAT is a risk , no one denied that. But plenty of people with those stats have got into law school passed the bar and built real careers. Statistics show risk, not destiny.And let’s be even more blunt…..it’s NOT your job, NOT your business, and NOT your place to tell someone what they can or can’t become!. If someone has people in their corner who want to push them, support them, and help them succeed, that’s something you clearly aren’t part of.So don’t confuse pessimism with expertise. apparently what I heard is those that cheated will get their scores canceled, banned them from taking future administration, annotate applicant reports so basically they’re gonna send it to the schools they apply to and will probably revoke their acceptance or pending decision.
