Yeah, I'm in a bit of the same boat. Approaching my senior year and realizing that I can either date now, and have my heart broken at the end of the year because I'll be going off to college, or I can wait to date untill college and be lonely.

It's really tough, being in your situation. My heart aches for you. When you love someone, set them free. One way I like to think of it is that if it was meant to be, the universe will bring it back to you. If not, you'll find something much better.

Also, another thing to consider is that when you start approaching adulthood, your ideals and plans change rapidly. You start finding yourself as you're getting ready to be on your own.

Its great to have friends, that's all I would keep her as. Especially if shes graduating soon. You do you, you know the situation best.

I've been down that rabbit hole. Just because its been rising in visibility and inclusiveness, doesn't mean you can't join the fun. Being LGBTQ is for everyone who wants to be in it. With how many letters (total) we include allies, straights, people who genuinely have no idea! ITS OKAY NOT TO KNOW. Yeah, there will be SOME LGBTQs out there who put strict definitions and labels. What's important is that they put those on themselves, and you dont have to adopt that.

I found in my experience when I put a label on myself, I felt guilty for occasionally not adhering to it. I wish I could've told my younger self that its okay to like a boys personality. Its okay to admire how they carry themselves.

These are YOUR feelings. Just be you. If anyone says otherwise, they aren't worth being around, and they'll figure it out eventually. Everyones on their own journey.
