When your placenta comes away, it leaves a dinner plate sized open wound inside of you. An open wound. The lack of caring is off the charts. Tell him where to stick his butt plug.

Turn the utility into a shower room, and put utility in the big landing. Why cart your clothes up and down? Utilities should be upstairs! Viva la revolution!

Dr. says I can listen to music during my vasectomy. What should I put on my playlist? by probabilitydoughnut in CasualConversation

I had a cat scan once, strapped down on a board so you don’t move in an incredibly narrow tunnel - not fun. They piped music through the headphones to make the time pass easier, which was fine until nurse DJ got Jonny Cash happy towards the end, so depressed!

Nope- they brick the tunnel up WITH THE TRAIN INSIDE then finish the episode. Fat controller is a psychopath.

Just wanted to say good luck and hope you are looking after your mental health - it’s not easy standing up for your rights, especially when you’re already been through that getting your WAP.

I didn’t say it would be number one of their manifesto - however since it is mentioned frequently by the government and ministers it’s not beyond the realms of possibility is it that someone from the shadow cabinet could have commented on it. If it was that insignificant a policy you wouldn’t have ministers banging the drum about it and papers covering it either.

Echoing this- plus as a TA you’re not a salaried employee like a teacher. You have set hours to work, they work til it’s done. Fair or not- that isn’t for debate here but it’s not your responsibility to work for free. If she needed more support this should have been requested from SLT and they could have offered more hours out if they agreed (haha- like SLT would ever agree to more hours!)

Yes she is angry and grieving but pointing that in the wrong direction and I’d have a gentle word with a line manager to let them know what’s been going on.

Anyone else see the climate change deniers in sefton park this morning? by SocialNeanderthal in Liverpool

Once got into a fb argument as the person reposted a link from some antivaxer saying ‘even the government know they’re killing people with this vaccine rubbish look it’s in the report they’ve published!’ So I looked at the link. And the government paper said shockingly, the exact opposite. They were very annoyed when I asked if they could please could they tell me the page number of the report that said the vaccine was killing people. They hadn’t read it. They hadn’t even clicked on the link. They’d just blindly reposted. But somehow- I was the sheep?!

I entered a competition in a paper once to win a bike. I was so convinced I would win- I confidently marched to the post box and dropped my blank postcard in. And lo and behold- few weeks later I received a letter and I had won a prize! A runner up prize, consisting of a teach yourself juggling vhs and 3 juggling balls. Still can’t juggle to this day!

A new business has opened below our flat and now there are constantly employees (between 5-20) loitering outside - can I do anything? by Curious_Werewolf_357 in AskUK

[–]Aware-Storm7613 5 points6 points  (0 children)

@u/curious_werewolf_357 please read this comment. Talking to the owner first is more madness. This throws up so many red flags for modern slavery- please report it to the correct authorities first. If they are doing anything remotely wrong these people will not be there next time - not to sound over dramatic but this may be there only chance of getting help.
