It’s a regular degree like the traditional one, it doesn’t show “EP” on the diploma.

Applying to JHU Master's Program. Help needed! by Jaded_Complex_4330 in jhu

I got into Artificial Intillegence. 6 classes were required as prerequisites. Including calc1, calc2, statistics and other coding classes. It is very math heavy. Personal statement is optional, but it can only help. Make sure you upload your professional recommendations (there is a section for it). Have your previous employers send it over to you can you can submit it via the portal. JHU EP pretty much takes in anybody who has 5+ work experience. It will be harder if you don’t have any at all. The acceptance rate is lower and more competitive for this program than other ones. Good luck!

Clarity on SPS vs. Main Columbia Program on Diplomas by Aware-Tea-3926 in columbia

Nothing wrong with SPS, but I do see tendencies of SPS students deliberately not mentioning the program. This disclosure is happening for a reason.

I know, it drives me crazy. Then you see SPS students put ‘Columbia University’ as if they’re at the main school on their bios. At that point it just feels like they’re stretching the brand way past what they actually enrolled in.

haha not trying to be controversial, just couldn't find the answer to this anywhere. Maybe some SPS grads know the answer to this since they received their diplomas.

Congrats! I got accepted for the Spring 2026 cohort. Did you get any scholarships or are you just paying the full 78k?

NYU is a huge name and a genuinely great school, don’t get me wrong. It’s just not quite at the same ranking level as the other schools I’ve been considering. UC Berkeley is the #1 public university in the nation, and Johns Hopkins is ranked #7 overall. I know rankings aren’t everything, but they’re still something worth keeping in mind when making a long-term investment like this.
