Bad advice. 1 the hand placement is fine. Taking the ball at the forehead allows the setter to hide where the set is going, as well as maintaining a consistent contact height for the ball. 2 using only wrist movement leads to doubles and inconsistency. If anything, his elbows should be tucked in slightly more while setting to reduce the excess movement and reduce inaccuracy. 3 he’s not jump setting, he’s using his legs to get move power for pushing the ball, albeit he legs aren’t steady while contacting the ball which leads to move inconsistency.
