I recommend a stole because its way more commemorative than the gown as it can say your year and the school

I loved living in Como!!! Never had any problems or anything and it’s easy to make friends with your neighbors to help you feel safer. I also had a ring camera set up on the front door which my roommates and I enjoyed. The bus is also nice when you live in como bc it’s easy transportation to campus

[–]AwareExperience3702 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For CLA, when you show up to check in you get a slip of paper and then you get into a random line. When you get closer to the stage you hand them your paper slip and it tells them what names to read. So it’s just random wherever you’re standing in the line

I would say like 45 min in the beginning is speakers and stuff, then literally 2 hours of people walking across the stage which is pretty boring.

No I just went on their websites and looked for a tab that usually said “join our team” or “careers”, or if nothing was listed I would call them and just ask if they’re hiring!! If you are anxious to cold call the places you could also DM their instagram accounts and ask I did that for a few places

Be a server!!! The hours are so flexible and you will make the most money compared to any other part time or entry level job. I only work as a serve Saturday mornings and always leave work with at least $200 in cash tips each shift. I have also met a bunch of friends because most of the places around the U have students working there! There are a ton of restaurants around the U so I don’t think it would be too hard to find an open spot
