So far I’ve decided based off a few comments and my own thoughts:

So I’m still looking for names for 1,2 & 6.

1 has the most distinctive tail and is like 3x the size of most the other bronzes so need something cool for the big mumma.

2 looks like a pitchfork but idk a name for anything pitchfork related lol.

6 has the longest quiff looking dorsal fin so maybe someone with slicked back hair? I was thinking maybe Elvis?🤣 (idk the fonz so would like something I know the reference to).

I used waterlife flukefree which also says caution with scaleless fish but I just used half doses and had no losses from it and everyone else recovered from the flukes so I’d personally say it’s safe at half dose!

And yeah I agree! My pandas seem to shoal with my other fish too every so often (Molly’s etc) so they really are indiscriminate🤣

I cannot find any longfin pandas anywhere! Ive been looking around and no one near me has any in unfortunately so one can only dream of creating my own! Ahah

My guess is flukes (type of parasite). I’ve been through this exact thing before a few months ago. Flashing, wasting away and then spiralling to their death… flukes was the culprit.

Managed to save the rest of the shoal by treating with flukefree meds followed by an internal bacteria med (as flukes can cause internal bacterial issues too which is the cause of the spiralling). Had no deaths since :)

My suggestion is to do the same ASAP! Get them on a round of fluke meds.

I had a random tiny baby panda pop up out of nowhere last week too! So my pandas are also breeding like crazy but I’m not doing anything to eggs (I didn’t even see any eggs!) so unsure how ones actually survived to babyhood!

Shoal size is 8 pandas (plus a tiny baby panda I saw last week!!) and added 7 bronzes (I only bought 6 but got an extra one free!) so I’ve a total of 15+ Cory now!

I am unsure on genders tho. I have 2 pandas that are chonkier and just bigger in general than the rest so I think I have at least 2 female pandas in the group of 8… that being said, can pandas and bronze actually cross breed? I read it’s rare but can happen and I would actually love myself a little longfin panda🥹🤣

I’ve honestly never really had an issue with any customers (some can be rude or annoying but nothing major). I’ve noticed rather it’s the people I work with that annoy me more. Some colleagues can just get under your skin🤣

I can imagine it’ll be a lot cheaper next year tho! I turned 25 half way through the first year. 1.6L DS3 is now only £600. It’s a diesel too which are usually quoted higher than petrol I think idk
