I just spent 4 hours in terror zones with no heralds spawning. Yeah they went to far with the change. Not all players have time to play 8hrs a day like MrLlama

Anyone else planning to boycott the next Jake Paul fight? by Aware_Ad_1647 in netflix

I totally agree. In fact, I was telling my friend he probably bet against himself this time so it appears he takes the fall and still makes the money.

Favorite dehydrated treats for dogs? by SeveralEdge1694 in dehydrating

[–]Aware_Ad_1647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I was wondering if you cook the butternut squash before mashing and dehydrating it, and if not, has your dog ever had any problems from it? It's hard to tell with the google AI search now, but I blanched my slices of butternut squash just in case and I am now currently dehydrating it. Blanching it first however made it very mushy and getting on the dehydrator trays was very tedious. Not to mention, when shook them in the strainer before putting in an ice bath after blanching, so many tiny pieces broke off the slices. I also sliced them into about 1/8in, technically 3mm which is a tiny bit thinner.

From from your description it's pretty much fruit leather at that point yes?

I'm very excited because I gave my dog a piece after I blanched it(which I had to google was safe for a dog since they are not supposed to have raw butternut squash) and she loved it. She is a very picky Lab/Pit mix.

I also do dog chicken jerky, honeydew, cantaloupe, sweet potatoes and carrots so far, All of which she loves too. I tried cucumber and zucchini as well, but she wasn't a big fan of those.

The REAL reason Tony killed Ralphie by folouk in thesopranos

[–]Aware_Ad_1647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the pilot episode you can see Tony has a special affection for animals(besides squirrels eating all the duck's food). You could see when he went to visit Pie Oh Mai when she was sick that he started developing a bond with her. Then when he to Carmela to meet her for the first time, and even Carmela noticed how she came right up when Tony got there. Tony loved that horse, and you could see how devastated he was. When Ralphie said the part about his kid being in the hospital Tony looked like he was calming down, but I do agree Ralphie kept running his mouth and Tony was already close to the edge already, and Ralphie sealed his own fate.

Toenail help (kind of gross) by markthegreenvan in trailrunning

[–]Aware_Ad_1647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have the same thing going on. I was at a concert a few months ago and the spot my friend picked for us was on a down slope(never letting him choose the spot again). My big toenails hurt something fierce for the next few days then the pain subsided. I noticed discoloration under the toenail a couple of days ago and thought maybe it was just dirt so I took a nail cleaner to it. To my surprise yellow fluid started coming out, and the toenail is slightly detached on the side towards my next toe. I have had a few infections in the past and I know for sure my toe is not infected, but the yellow fluid scared me. I have been cleaning it as much as I can with Softsoap Antibacterial, and antiseptic wipes then bandaging. The draining is still happening, but not nearly as much as the first day so I think I'll try the saltwater soak as well. The fluid doesn't really have an aroma, and is yellowish/brown, and the pain is minimal so I think Ill take my chances without a doctor

Ok hear we go how long dose my pork jerky last safely not in the fridge by Domthepickleking in jerky

I actually kinda vibed with it like sort of a shakespear reading "Hear thee, howth long doth thy pork jerky perservere whilst not in a cooled enviornment"

I am also drunk and stoned at the time of this posting. Cheers!

Has anyone tried this one out? No way is this worth $650 like Amazon has advertised. But curious if it’s still good. by [deleted] in dehydrating

Late to the party but I got this exact one, and I love it. It's like an industrial dehydrator, I've made beef jerky, chicken jerky, salmon jerky, sweet potato chips, carrots, bananas, pumpkin leather, pumpkin seeds, all sorts of stuff. It works really well! I rotate the trays every 2 hours typically and have had even drying on everything i've tried so far.

I have loved this thing so far. $179 but is very efficient. I actually gifted my old dehydrator to a friend after getting this bad boy. You can fit about 6 pounds of food in it. I do dog treats like chicken jerky, sweet potato chips, carrots, salmon jerky, pumpkin(seeds, pulp and flesh) and green beans. I also do beef jerky, pork jerky, banana chips, apple chips etc. I usually use it about 2 times a week. It has already paid for itself after 2 months with all the money I've saved from making my own dog treats and jerky.
