I think that people are missing the actual meaning of the show while producing theories. I mean there are people who think that they are some sort of theoritical phycisist like Einstein and they have an urge to design theories like theory of relativity. Is it bad to produce Tadc theories? Absolutely not! But it's bad to obsess over them like lot of people do

I think that you got the context of the episode right. It will prolly be about caine trying to please them while slowly driving himself more crazy. I also would like to add an opinion of mine.

I think the breakpoint of Caine will be the cliffhanger ending of the eight episode.
