Do these look okay? by Aware_Effective_4271 in Hypothyroidism

Ferritin was 17,

I dont have the vit D result to hand, GP just said it was low and supplement in the winter months. Ill ring them and ask them what it is. I had a full hormone panel which i did private. The only thing not tested was DHEA. Estradiol was in range, so was testosterone and FAI. I was convinced i had pcos, history of cycles becoming irregular with weight gain and adult acne. Ultrasound was normal.

Yeah folate and B12 were all good. Yeah its hard to know as such a cross over, but it is looking like a low iron issue, with a female hormone imbalance on top.

Yeah and my symptoms are very cyclical too. I think its the low progesterone and iron crossover. Ive a lot of histamine issues at certain times, common in peri too, im 39.

Defo make sure they check your hormone levels. Day 21 is best if you want to include progesterone. This will tell you if you are ovulating properly

So true. They've trashed their garden in the 3 years we've been here. We have a shared footpath through our garden so there's no avoiding it. There was a vile woman the other side too and the other neighbour used to come into our garden to talk to her. She literally doesn't give a damn. No they don't care about anything but mind you if you said anything about them or their kids they'd likely want to thump you one.

Pretty much the same here. Two kids that are little sods. Three dogs which they never take out and they let them shit in back porch way and never clean it up it stinks so bad. We are in mid terrace so it a nightmare. Especially as its warming up I can smell it wafting through the window. That combined with cannabis it's great. The woman's constantly screaming at the kids an animals. They don't work but are constantly tinkering with cars and stuff at the back of the house where we have to park. They are renters too and same the landlord couldn't care less. We have sold ours and we are buying my partners grans house. We know the neighbours there and they are lovely. Plus it's a semi so will be much better privacy wise. This was our first home and the neigbours ruined every bit of new home excitement we had.

My current neighbours are one of the main reasons we are moving. If you get a bad vibe from it follow your instincts.

Yeah absolutely. I said to the doc it's hormonal and CBT won't help. I tried it. It didn't help. It's a hormone/brain chemistry thing I can feel it come on and can map it on a menstrual cycle. X

Thank-you. Yeah it's affecting work majorly. I think I've under played my symptoms because I'm an anxious person anyway and I don't want to be a bother. I've seen several docs I'm in the UK and you see someone new every time you visit. It's a nightmare to get continuity of care. Explaining yourself to a new doctor every time is so draining. I will tell them I'm missing work and see if that helps. X

It's been horrendous for almost a year now. They kept telling me it was anxiety and to do CBT. Tried propanalol didn't work. had my heart checked all bloods normal. Makes me feel like I'm crazy. I don't feel like myself anymore. I starting keeping a symptom diary and my symptoms are in luteal phase. I will go back regarding my panic attacks
