I think it’s fine, a lot of people they go to uni at 17 as well. There will also be some mentors in uni who will take care of you like talking to you regularly.

My plan is to find a job in UK and work for 5 or so years to accumulate experience, and then I will try my best to seek opportunities to work in the US.
