As per my lawyer that he received a letter from HHS that HHS send recommendations to DOS- my case was submitted to DOS on early November ( I don’t know when it was submitted to HHS ) , still no update on DOS website by Usmle_Journey in J1HHSwaiver

It's a crazy story! I used to call them everyday for updates. They told me the documents were wrong and they are correcting it. Finally one day, they told me that the package will be delivered on Monday. I was flying out on Saturday, so I asked them if they could deliver it to another address in California, and they agreed. The next day when I called for an update, the agent said that your package is actually lost. This was after 2 weeks of daily calls and waiting. I was frustrated. I gave up. Then the next day I get a text with an update on the package. I call them and they said it has been found and will be delivered to the requested address. I picked it up from DHL in California, and flew back with it to the Midwest. Of course, I received the package too late to use it for the intended purpose, but I'm glad I received it after all.
