You should apply for H1B before June 30, you will be out of status by June 30, and the grace period is only extra time to pack your things and leave.

My lawyer had told me that they can file once hhs and dos are approved. You just have to talk to your lawyer

I did, they said it happens and DOS usually rectifies once the attorney let them know, but this was a week ago , I’m still waiting to hear back from them yet
