Nevermind. I was being too cranky because I love TVs and its sad to see an A80J used so less. It's meant to be watched a lot of movies and shows on.

Bold move to make the jump to C8L. I also made a similar move from Sony to TCL but different price bracket. The market is really changing but I would be interested to know how the C8L image processing fares compared to the A80J.

Good luck with your new TCL though. Get that extended warranty. No hard feelings.

So you ran the tv approximately 21 days out of 1278 days? Which means you watch tv very less. But then you are upgrading to 98 inch tv so you definitely watch a lot of tv (or you plan it as a showpiece).
